Did you ever reinstall the upper control arm heat shields? The top hole for the bolt can still be accessed, but the geometry correction brackets block the side mounting hole. Curious how you may have attached it.
I didn't at first. I thought it was a little stiffer than stock, though the truck felt more confident on the road. But after wheeling it fairly hard for the first time, now it feels better to me. I don't know if the springs have a kind of break in period or something? Now I do agree. It does feel smoother than stock. Maybe it's all in my head. 😆
@@LowlanderNate I didn't find it drastically better, but there was a noticeable difference. Even with the Jeep sitting higher, it feels like it takes corners better. I also noticed that during hard braking, the front end doesn't dip down drastically like it did stock.
What did you use to cut that bolt out on passenger upper control arm for diesel? I have all the kit just waiting in the garage till I figure that part out so I’m not left without a truck if I can’t get it out. Don’t have specialty tools like metal saws that’s why I ask. Thanks so much!
If I remember right I ended up not cutting it, and just punching it out the other side with a screwdriver and hammer. The insulation that was blocking it was squishy enough that I was able to push past it. Maybe not the best idea since it had to have displaced a little of that insulation, but the bolt came out!
Hi what size are the bump stops on this kit. 2 or 3 inch. Thx
Thanks for showing this!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I tried, but they didn't fit the same after installing the Geo brackets. Ended up just leaving them off.
I'm running this same suspension on my JK. I was genuinely impressed with the ride quality. Did you find that it rides better than stock?

We're getting there

Thanks for showing how “fun” the process will be when I get mine delivered. Hopefully with my son helping me it might go a little smoother…
