Kay, if no one has said it yet, thanks for letting us fly with you. You've encouraged me to get back up there and finish getting my VFR.
Very professional with a great humor added, very comforting.
all it takes is money. a good loving woman no money in the world can buy however.
Oh my you’re so welcome! I’m happy to hear that I’ve inspired you to get back to it, please keep me posted in your progress!!
It takes a good bit of hard work too😁
❤ your videos!!
Happy landings, always!
Hello Kay, greetings from El Salvador. I like your videos and especially those beautiful trips with their beautiful landscapes. Blessings.
I was wondering if you get lonely flying on long flights by yourself, but then I saw you have 124K people to talk to. Love the videos.
My whole family is from Meridian
Hello Kay…just recently clicked on one of your videos. I’m a 62 year old man and have never been in a plane but have always thot I’d love to learn to fly myself like you’re doing…I enjoy watching. Thank you for Great content!!
Millionair, besides my home FBO, is my favorite. I always get the red carpet treatment in my Stinson! Far more reasonable fees than Atlantic or Signature and they have anyways been able to get me a hotel reservation last minute. Got stuck at Millionair MFR last year waiting for weather and they even shared lunch with me from the employee potluck they were having!
Greetings from Meridian, MS. Hope you enjoyed the area!
Hi, Kay! I've been following you and Little Red for a while. She really flies nice. But watching the other day something struck me: Little Red has no shoulder harnesses. There are all sorts of retro-fit kits available these days for older GA planes designed with only seat belts that will let you add shoulder harnesses. You and Pops need the protection from smacking your faces or heads into the yoke or panel if you suffer a sudden deceleration. I highly recommend you look into it. They added shoulder harnesses to care on a mandatory basis decades ago for a reason. Same reason exists in GA airplanes that were built prior to the time they all came with harnesses.
Just wanting yall to be as safe as possible!
I was totally surprised when you said Meridia Mississippi that’s where I was born it’s just such a rare little town I’m always shocked to hear somebody mention that name
Neat town. We drive there from Dallas to catch the Crescent when we go up to the Frozen North.
The Sugarland air traffic controller was fantastic. Spoke with clarity and at the right tempo. Hair looks really nice today, Kay! 😃
Be careful when running the heater. Any exhaust leaks and you could be bringing carbon monoxide into the cabin. Make sure you have a good CO detector.
Favorite FBO of all time is KAPA, Centennial Airport in Englewood/Denver, CO. Restaurant overlooks the tarmac and runways. Great pilot shop for all your bits, bobs, and gadgets. Nothing else is even close. We used to just drive down for the afternoon.
Kay is such little love bug. Love this little lady to pieces!!
Meridian -- Key Field !? -- I grew up there and had my solo flight there in the late 70's. That landing looked very familiar😁-- Never made it a career though. Been in North Texas ever since. That voice so distinctive - no surprise that some of the ATC crew recognize it. Likely puts a smile on their face when you come through the neighborhood.
Green or Red in summer - Black in winter. But ANY of them will do. When on a trip, I go green, they keep better.
7738 November I'm in the green to fly with you anytime.
Thanks for taking us along.
Lil’ Red came up as a topic of discussion at the Thanksgiving table. My 11 year old nephew from Tyler is a huge fan. Thanks for the quality content and production!
God Speed.
Wish you would come down to Hattiesburg! Would love to show you around the real Mississippi!
Grapes: Possibly a slight margin of preference for the green over the red. BUT overall I prefer the dark or black grapes.
A very good Sunday morning to you all in the USA from Wellington Somerset in the UK 🇬🇧 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I have flown several times into DSM and selected Elliott Aviation for my FBO services. They were fantastic to work with on my PilotsNPaws flights.
Even got the red carpet treatment with my Cherokee 140 parked between several jets!
Hopefully that same service is true now that Modern has taken over Elliott.
Loving your videos Kay!
Hon, You make an old man smile. I am so proud to fly with you. B safe, always
Kay, I think I mentioned fairly recently in another comment that I had just discovered your Channel,. But as someone who has always had a keen interest in aircraft and aviation and has helped out at a Flying Club in Southern England in previous years, as well as having received some Flying Lessons, I must say that I think your videos are brilliant. Thank you sooo much for making them and uploading them to UA-cam. You certainly have a keen Supporter here. I wish you every happiness and success with your flying.
KMTV (Martinsville Virginia) and KHKY (Hickory North Carolina) are both excellent places to visit. Both have very nice restaurants to eat at!!
Martinsville is a nice airport
grape 🍇 wise it depends on what’s available some are hit/miss. just don’t toss up and catch on grapes.
Hi Kay, i love the Green ones. Many greatings from Germany
I live in Meridian, kinda cool to see someone fly into my little ghetto town lol
Nice to see your outfit is colour/color, co ordinated with your planes interior, you have a great personality, and know what you are doing, but also convey that so well, its been a pleasure riding along for the vid
I've only recently discovered your channel Kay, but I have to say that from the few I have watched so far, you always seem so upbeat, even when you had that minor emergency in L'il Red. My flying days are behind me now, even though I only ever flew gliders - general aviation and powered flight in the UK is very expensive to take up purely as a hobby. However, I do enjoy watching others enjoying the freedom of the air, and your approach and attitude is a breath of fresh air, if you'll forgive the pun.
Kay, I’m so happy that you use your printed checklist before each flight. So many other UA-cam pilot influencers have gotten out of this very important safety habit.
Or they edit it out.
Yes I’ve noticed that too, but it is definitely possible that it just gets cut when they are editing the video. I include mine because of the way I edit🥰
Hi Kay I have a 63 year old Comanche they just don’t make planes like them anymore and it’s funny at one airport here the tower personnel call me Mr polite or the polite pilot because I say please and thank you and I don’t like the bumps either my daughter does and laughs when my head hit s the roof fly safe
Hi kay.Meridian takes me back to when I was stationedthere at NAS naval air station in1973.
Loving listening to you and flying with you. I love the purple 🍇.
Love your channel, you’re so cute. Love your little Red. I’m a new subscriber. Till the next video.✌️🇺🇸
Thank you so much! Welcome to the Kayviators!!!
I tell you what…. Your attitude and spirit always makes my day brighter!! Thank you for what you do young lady.
have you tried taking to your local cleaners see what they say about your seat covers? i’ll betcha dry clean or a steam clean depending on the age of the material really not sure 🤔 if their machine washable they might say hand wash gentle setting who knows??. Reminds me of my dad’s airplane.
KUKT. Quakertown, Pa. My home airport. Only a hop, skip and a jump from KMQS. Chester county airport. You visited Chester County a few months ago. 😁
Just found your channel and I love it. I learned how to fly when I was 8 years old. I lived behind a airport in Vermont and the mechanic took me flying and taught me how to fly. I am 64 now I love to fly.
I never knew got my license
You're going to be a bad ass commercial pilot!! Keep it up!!
I want to mention again that Kays Tee shirts are high quality. It's hard to call a Tee shirt "tailored" BUT they are so well-fitting and comfortable that you have to call them well tailored. The material itself is a of a very nice tight weave, the company obviously cares about its product! You will wear them!
Thank You for being quality Kay! Much appreciated! Robert
I am a student pilot in Centennial, Colorado, KAPA, and if you ever get to this area I would love to take a flight with you!
You're one in a million! I mean, the way you handled the situation when you had to turn back. Plus, when you went out again for your 100 dollar Cheese Burger. Yummy! 🤪
G,Day kay like soo many others i stumbled upon your channel by chance and on the my anniversary of 38 years as a private pilot and 21 years as a skydiver(12000 jumps)watching you fly Little Red takes me back to the days when i flew the same aircraft . Your vids are very enjoyable and i also find them educational learning how you fly in the US compared to Australia.Your love of flying and the way you try and explain how you fly your aircraft is a pleasure to watch, thank you for sharing your passion with us. Cheers Mate.
The view underneath the plane is awesome!
Love your channel thanks for letting us fly with you
Howdy Kay, enjoying your time building and very impressed with the chosen path to commercial aviation. I am a former aviator and retired enroute controller. At 5:36 when you checked in the controller should have warned you about the similar call sign Seven Eight November, but you picked up on that immediately, well done. I hope when you move up to something faster and maybe two engines you can still record. The only factor since I have seen airliner pilots use cameras is the sterile cockpit rule. So to quote an old saying "You Go Girl!". Good Luck, keep the dirty side down. 😎
Fun flight Kay....the direct out of MUSIQ was a rare opportunity, and you can always take those where you can get it ! I am big on Jet Center at KAPA and Signature at KCOS. People are just great at those FBO's. Fly Safe !
Turkey 773 November 😂😂
That's what it sounds like to me too LOL
@@xoniwebmaster1 You're not the only one.
Ive never met someone so happy in that right seat!❤😅❤You could be a wonderf😢ul airplane sales lady .. Citations!😅
This really helps people that want to learn to fly especially explaining everything including gauges fuel wind outside temps etc
Love your videos and red grapes you have the camera positions just perfect. I also have a Piper Cherokee haven’t named it yet
I was very fortunate to have the family I have. A couple of years ago my adult kids and my wife purchased air time for me to ride and pilot a plane just like yours. Loved it and enjoy watching your channel.❤
When are you and Pop coming to the Ms. Gulf Coast. Are you going to the Air Navy Station? I guess I will find out watching the video. Oh I enjoy watching, you are so positive.
Hi Mom, from ATC. Funny! Enjoyed your Vlog - all the nuances. Comm with ATC - how you manage with finely tuned flying skills! Refreshing, thank you.
I thought the same, dont think he wanted to say much more
Flying with Kay another fun watch enjoy your day 🛩
ooo checking with dad that is the model minus tail number cool.😎
I just discovered your channel. You have a wonderful channel on flying, goes with your upbeat personality. My wife has been in aviation for most of our lives, she is 66 and looking for retirement in a few years. She flies a Hawker 800. She's been a Captain for nearly 30 years. She flew out of Surgarland Tx decades ago as well. Since we have so many grandkids, her co-pilots call her Captain Grandma. Aviation is a great career if you have good ground support back at home.
Love to see flying, admire your energy
Thanks for the update keep them coming. 😊
Good morning to our Kayviator in Chief!
Looking forward to you posting your Flying Music Playlist in one of your videos!
so enjoy your content its so awesome
Love your videos. I dont fly but always loved airplanes. Went to many Oshkosh air shows in the 80's.
Great trip! Thanks
Great video! I personally and Grape agnostic, they all taste great to me!
I love the Moondrop grapes. They taste great.
Smooth landing as always
Kay, so glad I found your channel. It is great flying with you. Planes have always been my passion....thanks for bring us along... hugs..143!❤
I find green to be sweet and the purple to be bitter. I avoid purple like the plague (and 115/145 avgas - also purple IIRC -- and Navy Fueler colors)
Best FBO --- Cutter (ABQ DVT and more)
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
Thank you for your videos.
Great video as always, any chance you can walk us through your engine monitor
Nice one Kay good for you and nice fliying be safe and crack on
Hey k happy holidays from nyc, I love to see you flying our red bird nicely from city to city
Hello Kay! Just found your channel last week. Very cool. You are VERY good at multitasking... a good quality for a pilot. You did not report on how lunch was, after last flight. I thought we would get a restaurant review.
I like all grapes, except "moondrops".... order of preference Black, Green, Red
greased that landing !! Thanks for sharing.
G'day from Australia Kay.... love your videos. Keep up the good work and happy flying. :)
Even with all the bumps in the air another smooth landing!
❤ your videos i watch em all 😊
Thanks for the ride. A great uneventfull flight.
One of my favourite parts of flying was the changing landscape. I’m retired from the military but still love looking out the window as a pax on commercial routes. Love your videos 🤙🏻
great flight Kay, your a great pilot very enjoyable to watch. thanks for posting Larry
GREAT JOB KAY. LOVE YOUR PASSION FOR FLYING 🙏. AND THE VIDS
Hi Kay Love your videos
Just found your channel. Really enjoying your IFR flights in lil’ red!
Enjoyed your flight. Thank you for all of the commentary. Sure brings back a lot of fond memories 🙂.
Thank you Kay for these videos. It's really interesting seeing how you manage the flying so well and can have fun and freedom to go places a lot of us cannot go. It's great as it helps us to experience the flight. Continue making these great videos and have fun.
Hi Kay I just noticed on the closed captions it showed Cherokee the first time you said it but a few minutes in closed captions is showing it as Turkey so I think that’s where the turkey came in ❤ but you make it sound super cute 👍
Great content! Love the belly cam. Me too; I love gazing at our beautiful earth. Would love to hear occasional mentions of what you’re flying over❤️
You should go see Jimmy in Lakeland Florida of Jimmys World and look at his collection of planes. You met him at Oshkosh.
I love how you go over your preflight preparations with us as that is so interesting for us non-pilots. Thank you, Kay.
Like them both, But I always go for the green first.
I would like to see you identify places on the ground when your camera shows great location shots. Just to kinda track your locations during the flight in between the airports. Love flying with you. You make it look so smooth and easy.
I love this idea! Thank you for sharing and thank you for watching!!!
Fly to Greg county airport. Long runways. Also a great flight school there.
Nice flight ! You are good to watch fly and the way you explain everything is great. Glad to see so many more female pilots and showing how professional they are best of luck to you and please keep promoting the best for our future pilots.
You are so full of life. It’s refreshing. I just found my flight logs which I was afraid I lost. Hope to be able to get back into it and complete my childhood dream. Keep making great videos. Happy Holidays!
Great video and your audience is the best. Signature - Green Seedless Grapes - Suggestion upgrade to an AeroStar and save fuel over operating a jet then MU-2 then jet. 777 captains are now earning $500.00 plus per hour.
Enjoying going with you on your trips when I was younger I use to fly a Cenina 172 and 150 love those planes. But I had 4 heartaches and Parkinson's now I'm 75 soon to be 76.But I love to fly.
Thanks Kay...nice smooth flight...great tailwind...
I'm so glad I stumbled onto your channel. Your love of aviation is Immediately obviously and I knew after you mentioned you were a CFI it made sense of your detailed explanations and attention to detail. I am a 20+ yr commercial A&P in Florida and I must say you have gained a Kay-viator for sure!!! Keep up the great content!!
Great videos Kay. I like that you include all the aspects of the flight, something many others don’t. lil red is the non retractable version of my plane and it’s really great to fly. Keep up the good work. You have inspired me to post my own videos 😀✈️
