I know I could’ve gone way more in depth like a lot of “reviewers” go with showing all the functions and reading off all the specifications, but I’m sure many people before and after me will do that. I wanted mine to be from the perspective of a shooter on the range telling you what I think about it and showing off the performance.

      @@VB6000. I got mine during the BF sale so not the preorder price but still a good deal! It’s still a good deal at full price if you ask me! Yeah 2k NVGs would be alright but I’m not sure they’ll ever be able to come down that low to be honest. 2k single tubes are out there all day tho!

    Just installed on on a sig mpx. Really happy with it. Only beef is from a left handed perspective the fire button is not reachable so you'll have to use a pressure pad.

      @@trevorr8834 that’s a good point about the fire button for lefties. I feel like a lot of laser have theirs in that spot those, the ones that are dead center puts your thumb knuckle in front of the optic (unless you’re running a 2.26 mount). So since this has a white light that would be a problem, just not for a straight laser. I’d be cool with them doing a centered button on a 3-1 though.

      @@tuomasholo waiting for version 2 that will have the ability to adjust the laser independently from the illuminator for the perfect full power illumination and not as much bloom from the laser!

    I bought 2 on the Christmas special pricing. If they work out well I will replace my GL4 Pros -which I really like but I think I’m getting zero shift issues. We shall see

    Now they are saying they have a V2 coming with no strobe and independently adjustable ir laser / illuminator.
    Figures i just got the V1 in the mail 2 days ago, lol. I'll probably buy the newer version too. You can't beat the price.

      @coffee_5.56x45 -- being a v1 buyer, I received the 40% off v2 email from them today. So I pre ordered another black unit. it was only $147 with the discount. That is awesome. I know a few other v1 buyers that also received the discount email too. That is great customer service.

    It is me or the camera, but that laser dot looks massive on the steel target???? Is it more cleaner/tighter looking in real life?

      @@pastrocks85 most of what you’re seeing is bloom and not actual dot size. It’s a very powerful laser

      @@coffee_5.56x45 Thanks for the reply. I bought a Olight GL the laser is decent, the laser leaves a lot to be desired, and the mounting just doesn't look clean compared to this unit. I hear they're really listen to user feedback so i might return that Olight and get me one of these.

      @ they are on top of changing based on feedback and doing it rapidly! So far I’m at around 700 rounds with no issues so I’ll go ahead and say this thing is worth it!

    Can the laser/illuminator be locked in the on position? Similar to a quick double tap like on other LAMs?

      @@RyanRDixon if you’re talking about momentary or constant on, it is similar to a olight where a short press is constant and a long press is momentary. They are changing this to be in line with most other LAMs where you double tap for constant and single press for momentary. If you were talking about the switch yes you can leave it on IR/IRL (I just don’t recommend this when not in use especially since there’s not caps)

    What’s the battery life when using the laser?

      @@jojoperry6139 so @BrixTactical has a video doing a constant white light test on full brightness that made it just under 40min run time. I haven’t done any constant on run testing. I fully charged the battery and just started using it. I have been turning it to the off setting when not in use like I do all my full powers for safety reasons and to see if any parasitic drain happens. I will take not of when it dies with my normal use. After it dies the first time I’ll probably do a constant on test with the IR Laser and Illuminator on high.

    In your opinion, would this be a good option for someone who depends on their firearms for a living, yet? Or would you need to do more testing?

      @@REWSK3Y I’d need a lot more testing and different units to say that undoubtedly for everyone. I could make that judgment call for myself much easier obviously. The way I look at it though is even the best laser can fail just like even the best optic can. I’ve killed one RMR on a Glock just after normal use, not excessive abuse just shooting. You never really know if that’s going to happen. I’ve heard several stories of steiners and l3s failing or losing zero for no reason, just check your stuff everytime before going out if you’re doing it for a living and have a back up plan incase it fails during use.

      @@Mike-yr7bk yes it can. It has all the basic laser aiming module settings (off, laser, illuminator, laser and illuminator, vis laser, white light, vis laser and white light, and also a white light strobe)

      @@Mike-yr7bk I haven’t had it die yet but I turn it to off when I’m done using it for basic IR laser safety practices. Brix Tactical has a video of white light constant on and it lasted 40 mins.

    What are those lights in the background up the hill behind your targets ? Is that someones property?

      @@solarlion144 yes but there a much deeper valley with a hill on the other side on that is my primary backstop, beyond that is the backside of a manmade large pond/lake that would be the secondary backstop if it were to go over the valley im shooting downwards into. Trust me its not my ideal shooting area, but there is a lot of careful planning of where the targets are and shooting downwards into natural berms

      @@anthonyjose5644 completely unbiased, I was not paid, and was not sent this laser by the company or anyone else. The full transparency of why it’s on the website is they have been communicating with me on Instagram when I tagged them in stories and told me they liked the video and would link it to the product page. They asked if I’d be interested in testing a future product but not this one.

      @@anthonyjose5644 I have recently been on a kick of buying “budget” stuff like this laser, I’m working on testing a PSA dagger slide with another aftermarket frame, and cheaper red dot for my own personal testing. I’ve always been the type to say “you get what you pay for” and recommend higher end things. I’m just now starting to see the true potential of some of these cheaper products and want to see if they could ever be used in a more serious manner. I want everyone to be able to experience shooting under nods with good lasers. I just think it’s ridiculous I paid what I paid for my full power lasers, and keep seeing the market of new lasers coming out using the same pricing model and just don’t understand the price gap anymore.

      @ trust me I’m on same boat I only buy quality and Gucci but it’s getting a little old especially with 2 kids. I think this is a good option to throw lasers on multiple rifles and not pay over 10k for illumination

Just really want to convey I’m just a regular guy shooting and using this stuff, and telling the viewers my opinions as I’m using it. I figured a lot of people would be testing these against other foreign lasers, so I wanted to make sure everyone saw the difference compared to what I have been using for the past few years.

      @@dat1dude591 I’m up to 560 rounds, shot some more last weekend and was still hitting steel at 100 yards no problem. I’m going to re confirm next time I shoot so that’ll probably be at either 600-800 rounds when I do it.

      @@coffee_5.56x45 I have a review of it on my channel also, I have yet to shoot it so really enjoyed your video but I really didn’t have any issues with the second model, this one just ticks all the boxes for what you want it and the windage and elevations adjustments seems much more beefed up and reliable

      @@julikocaribe1982 deskpop tested that, it is not fully submersible rated. It continued to work but water got in the lens and blocked it partially
