I found it funny that Pearl and Marina have almost the same height and age as Mario and Luigi.
Maybe in a future Mario Party, Mario and Luigi could make update announcements? Perhaps even have events similar to Splatfests in which players pick one of two, three or four teams based on personal preferences, and go head-to-head in classic board battles, earning points based on coins and Stars collected, overall placement, minigame win-loss ratio and Bonus Star eligibility!
@@themightygallium9509 Well in Mario kart tour there are team rally's. So that's probably the closet to splatfests. Speaking of mario kart tour . Funny that the Squid Sisters, Off the hook and deep cut are going on a world tour. And Mario and his friends are also on a world tour in Mario kart tour.
So that means Mario and Luigi are shorter than Kevin Hart too?

If you wait a bit before completing the stage after the dolphin/orca sculpting level you get some dialogue where agent 2 wonders what it’s supposed to be and orca responds with “...”

Marie has an alternate dialogue too, different from the one wondering what it looks like, something like you were pretty cool.
I only got it to work the one time, where you go to the right side first, but I could never get it to work after I got her wondering what the sculpture looks like dialogue.
One thing I've noticed was that DJ Octavio's color seems darkened. Because in Splatoon 1 and 2, he looked much more bright and colorful in a way but Octavio in Splatoon 3 looks dark and drained of energy. I always thought the zapfish gave him a sort of energy which brightens him up (in a way).
I don't know, it might just be the lighting of how the game is
or maybe he’s drying up, much like the inklings tentacles are dried on the tips

@@sofianeaissou5742but he is in swim form which is something that can’t happen if you’re that old since you would have to dry up like cuttlefish which removes ability to swim in ink
One thing that I have noticed in the beginning that when you open the box with the splatershot Jr in it, you can also see that the beginner's name plate is in there as well. I thought that this was a nice little touch to show how you found/earned your equipment at the start, even the little stuff.

splat 3's hero mode actually carries over your octo expansion data to determine what the captain looks like

Did you have to beat the expansion for it to carry over? I had the expansion and never beat it and my agent 3 did not carry
@@The_Gidz yesss, because agent 3 comes in when you are at the final boss, but you don’t have to do every stage
@@The_Gidz I think it’s either when you beat the octo expansion or when you get to the point when you actually choose what agent 3 looks like
though by the time you get to that point the expansion is nearly over
Fun fact: In the same mission, you get a lesser bonus in only one power egg pack if you fire, but don't splat any enemies.
I’m sure we all know about Big Man’s boss fight being a reference to the Manta Storm from Sunshine, but I think there’s a reason why Nintendo did that. Not because it’s awesome, but because Splatoon 3 came out almost exactly 20 years after Sunshine released. So maybe they did that to celebrate its anniversary.
Ok, didn't know that part.
I kinda figured it was just finally acknowledging the whole "reversed concept" thing that the devs admitted they didn't realise until after S1 was finished.
Something I found in Splatoon 3 story mode which I guess could be considered an Easter egg is if you don’t move during the Octavio fight he won’t send out and fists, he’ll just stand there and every so often will do an idol animation.

I can just imagine Octavio just sitting there with a cup of (non-water based) coffee waiting for the player to move.
During the splat fest results, the three symbols of stingray, eel, and shark can be seen. After the winning team is declared, the symbol of the idol representing the wining team pops up.
Those symbols are shown on banners on each side of the TV studio... in the opposite order.
After completing story mode lil judd puts on the microphone, people have been theorising that he takes over grizz co, This is supported further as in the tableturf battle against lil judd all his cards are salmonoids as well as the Mr. Grizz card
A funny little funny glitch is if you squid jump between two kettles on area 6 of story mode (I believe 7 to 8) you will actually clip/squid jump through one of the largest buildings!
I found this out when playing story mode and found it hilarious

3:23 this actually happened to me as well, since it only saves the game after you get the reward, you get your money back and you get the same thing you would have gotten anyways for some reason.

The official Splatoon world map says that Hammerhead bridge is really close to the statue where Commander Tartar tried to blast inkopolis
It is cool, though.
But Tartar would have to deal with the Eel throwing, Shark riding, Flashback giving Splatsville trio even if he succeeded destroying inkopolis.
Can you see the bridge in the boss battle in 2 then? I can't remember if you can or not

It is because when you were beating Octo Expansion Hammerhead Bridge was being built
Tartar's cannon would've sanitized the entire world.
Something I just found out. If you go back to the Octavio boss fight, before you start the fight, if you ink below your feet and submerge, the music is slightly muffled as your in the ink. It's slight but a cool detail
The music always does this. Still a cool feature and some nice attention to detail as the music exists inside the game universe
that's... something that happens everywhere when you're in the ink
I think that the diálog for not firing any ink is a reference to Shan Tzu from the art of war.

I have something that happened.
I was preparing to start a new salmon run battle and I accidently took a picture. I went to delete it and the game started. When I went back I thought I just couldn't find my teammates. No. They were gli4ched into the sky.
The black inkling and octoling plushies in the salmon run helicopter can be beought at hotlantis.

I’m not entirely sure if this is worth the mention or not, but if you have bothered to upgrade your hero gear to full all the way to the "SmallFry damage up" upgrade, Little Buddy will actually start one-shot'ing enemies, even including Octo Snipers and Octo Commanders.
And yes, it does work on the A.I controlled Octolings, even if hitting with SmallFry might take a well-aimed throw because of how fast and small they are

Fun Fact: If you had and played through the Octo Expansion, your Captain 3 in Splatoon 3 will look like the one you created in the Octo Expansion.
Another fun fact: If you minimise the news screen when Deep Cut are talking, and then go to their studio area, you can see them giving out the news.

Nintendo is already working on patching the clipping out of bounds with the Tacticooler glitch out of the game. They're releasing an update on 9/29 that will implement countermeasures against the glitch and a complete fix to the issue will be implemented in a later update. And just a heads up for anyone looking to try it, Nintendo also announced that they'll be suspending the accounts of players who abuse the glitch during matches

Did you know that every deep cut fight is the same color as the next deep cut opponent example: when facing agent 3 is blue in the Frye fight, agent 3 is green in the shiver fight and agent 3 is orange in the big man fight

I've noticed that the statue in Grizzco changes weather you've finished the story mode or not
Deep Cut actually talk about the NILS statue in the anarchy splatcast, and they said it appeared next to Hammerhead Bridge so it didn't drift there. And that there are tours that go there so the boats are not cleaning it up. They're milking a doomsday device for cash!

theres also a not very hidden one, in one of the zip caster stages, the one with the giant gate at the end, if you climb over the gate, marie says something about the zipcaster being able to climb walls

If you hold ZL, jump, and shoot beneath you, you can do a cool trick.

At 0:54 I did try that before this video. It was very tough and it took me awhile
with the shell out machine i once got 10x ability chunks for every ability twice in a row …….. but one of them got the multiplayer maps update on it 😢
