Where was the last fact of uselessness today?
Did you know that if you throw a Golden egg at your feet when a salmonid comes it actually does 100.00 damage.
The rope part of the hero shot is actually meant to look like a roll of filament used for 3D printers! The hero shot I feel is overall going for a “printer” vibe this time and it turned out really cool!
I still remember how the Hero Shot from Splat 2 was literally just a P-90 but modified to use ink XD
Fun fact: If you’re doing a hero mode mission that doesn’t have small fry in it whatsoever, he’ll wait back in the starting room.

In case you didn't catch it , you can yeet yourself by standing on the basket's spawning platform in Salmon Run as it spawns.
It was so much better in 2, now it just juts you sideways, it goes at a weird angle, they really massacred the good ol basket jump

And here I was thinking I was being so original. But you can get actually yeeted if you stand in the right spot.

Mr Blake Boy I hate Salmon Run, so I don't want to get better.
If you empty your ink tank, you can see a hose running from the top to the bottom, which is how the ink gets in and out. There is also a small red light on the top, that lights up when you have enough ink for your sub. AND the rescue ring in salmon run the Inklings and Octolings carry on their back, also serves as an ink tank. You can see it empying as you shot and it has the same colour as your ink, when it's full. It also has a light that shows you if your splat bomb is usable, 2/3rds on the tanks capacity, which is how much ink the splat bomb uses.
Yeah, I've noticed that, and it's a really neat and possibly even practical little feature, since your ink tank as a UI element is only available when submerged, you have no idea how full your tank is otherwise

In Splatoon 2, that bombs in Salmon Run cost ¾ of a tank. Glad they lessened it.
The light also indicates you can throw an egg in salmon run, egg throwing uses the same amount of ink as bombs

You can also throw golden eggs with the L button. This is useful for if you're trying to jump over stuff like a Big Shot shockwave and don't want to use the A button.
Fun fact: The tenta missiler shots is actually bottles and the launchers look like these crate-things which holds multiple bottles at grocery stores.
While playing the Grizz co tutorial, dying too much while fighting a boss OR when failing to meet the quota during the tutorial, "Mr Grizz" will give you special dialogue
And when using the H-3 Nozzlenose, you will hear a special sound when killing somebody
Did you know that on the scrolls on very left side there is a inkling,octling and small fry on a swing if you flip the scrolls it kinda makes a animation
Nick I think the string in the Hero Shot is actually the line that they use in 3d printers, yk there's a lot of 3d printing lore in story mode
The humans literally used 3D printing to build the Moais because it was their favorite form of architecture XD
Those humans really grew up in the right generation
8:00 This is a Story Mode exclusive Object, you get one by searching all the things in the Story Mode or the Drone delivers one. These objects are all visible within Alterna in one or another way (Same with literally every Locker Object or Sticker).
In the lobby, you can press the L button to go to the match menu when you aren’t in the pot thing. Let the copy bot throw some of its ink on the floor, and then if you stand on it and press L, you won’t get damage from standing on enemy ink. Furthermore, if you jump right after pressing B to close the menu, you can jump full height (you shouldn’t be able to jump that high on enemy ink) and not take damage. In certain cases, you may take damage but jump full height just fine.
There’s a little animation when pressing B of zooming out of your character, so jump after that. Timing can be a little tricky sometimes. Make sure not to jump too early or too late.

The rope part might actually be a 3D printer cartridge. 3D printers often use little spools full of a material (usually plastic) as a way of inserting materials to be used in 3D printing.
The squeezer and flingza roller are made by the same company, and they both have two functions one long range function one close range function, really nice detail
There was this one match where one of the enemies was just circling my sniping vantage, not really trying to fight me, and I said, "this guy is distracting me" and then I look over and see that without my watchfull gaze the enemy had recaptured the tower and I was like, "oh, he was actually distracting me."
This series has been going nonstop and I still love watching more of this content!
The line on the hero shot is most likely 3D printing wire, it would make sense considering the 3D printed 🗿 in the first world.
On the stock of the squiffer, a light will fill up as your charge fills up. It’s really cool to see.
You can actually go up to all of the other shops around splastville even the market near tableturf dojo and they all have their own theme

Small fry seems to break Big Mans AI during his fight. Especially when he gets in his smaller forms, noticed that he can get stuck trying to hit small fry with all his attacks and gets stuck unless he uses his charge attack. Think max level small fry is a must.
The entire dialogue in the "Relic Restoration" mission is pure comedy gold
I guess this is mostly a detail you wouldn't notice if you didn't check out twitter, but if you think the singer for one of the songs sounds familiar, than your right. One of the new bands, Front Roe, is made up of members of the games first band, Squid Squad. They're the ones who wrote Splattack and Now or Never, and its lead singer, Ichiya, is once again singing songs in Splatoon 3.
In some levels like “Those aren’t birds” if you miss a target, before they shoot ya jump off the edge, the ink laser bounces off the boundary

I noticed in the salmon run "lobby" the table on the right has a pencil holder that looks like lil Judd
If you get stuck especially when you have clams, it's better to jump into the water because falling to your death makes you respawn quicker compared to getting splatted

A little detail I noticed a couple weeks ago- the new respawn points are actually- coffee machines. With the handle thing (forgot what it's called) for the coffee in there too.

I always love exploring alterna but have you ever actually explored it like an example section three was were the survivors home is section 5 is where the food is grown section 2 is were the food is made into producs section 4 is the storage island and section one I think was under construction which I think was supposed to look like the outside world
By the way: I am not sure if you covered this yet. But you can see the other team super jumping if you see the map during a battle(I saw this during a Anarchy Battle).

If you look at the closely at the scrolls book in hero mode you can see drawings and if you flip through the pages it turns into a flip book! I think it’s cute

I remember I first noticed that detail about the respawn become when me and my friend decided to play the original premiere, we thought it was so cool
I just found that in story mode, the octolings’s ink color looks like the fuzzy ooze color, which is logic because they have sort of hairs because of the fuzzy ooze so that makes sense

If you look at the tableturf battle cards held by inklings and octolings, all of the cards are individually textured, not the same card repeated over and over again
If you look closely at the scrolls in story mode there’s a little drawing and if you flip through the pages really fast it turns into a flip book! I think it’s cute
I try to hear Mr Cocos low voice but I always have enough cash for the shoes because they are so cheap

Fun Fact: if you go to mahi-mahi resort in recon and you go near the DJ in the background, it plays music!

And what's interesting is that in 0:40 mark of that video you can hear the rocket launching and Booster failed and hit the liquid crystal as you see in the sky there's a glitchy hole that's where the rocket got hit and exploded As mentioned in alterna logs 3 and 4.
And spoilers btw: as Mr grizz launches off you can see a blue circle that's the hole he's going to and that could explain that's where you fall at the intro of story mode
