A quote that I found early in treatment was something along the lines of "nothing worth doing is easy"

I would like to thank you too. I was looking for a videos that would help motivate me. I actually found it hard on youtube. There was not a lot of "personal Vlogs" about ED Recovery that felt like the Vlogger had actually struggled with ED or Recovery. Your video was intelligent, and if I could underline that I would, fun, and positive. So thank you. Your video also brought a serious subject home, in a non dramatic way, which can happen when talking about ED. Loved the production value of the video, and love how it felt like it was you, and your friend kicking it, and not super glammed-out and for the" up-votes" and "views." Sometimes I just need some help remembering. Thank You

I've been in recovery for 4 weeks and 3 of those weeks were binges. Now I'm starting to gain a little control and I'm following a homemade meal plan of 2000 calories. I wanted to follow Minnie Maud but 3500 calories a day as a minimum (5'7 14 year old male) seems like way too much after such a long time of binging. Can I stick to 2000?

Heyyy!!! Myself Mannarsh. I recently started watching your videos on UA-cam. Your videos were amazing and they helped me a lot to understand what basically eating disorder is. I really need your help. My best friend recently came to know that she is suffering from this. She hasn't told anyone else except me, so I am trying my best to help her but as u said in your video I can only support her I can't be her therapist. So today she said let's ignore it and I am fine and I know she is not. I am so confused about what to do now. I really need your help. I will be waiting for your reply.

Thanks for sharing tips! I just don't know how to survive in such a culture where it seems fitness, being skinny and exercising are all what should be valued sooo much. Triggers are everywhere: people constantly talking about diet and fasting; magazines, ads on TV and on the streets, etc. I feel like I am so trapped:(. Any tips?

i've got a question: are you still "into food", like thinking about it and still "loving" it or did it become "more boring" and nearly "unnecessary" (for example that you sometimes really forget to eat)?

Melina v.G. I think it depends. I'm barely starting recovery... so I wouldn't know yet, but I've heard different stories from different people. I know fully recovered people who LOVE food again, they eat healthy and work out but in moderation and in a healthy way. I think many people can start to like it again ❤️ but even if they don't it's okay too.

Heres is some other try tips that I have gathered. I had anorexia and I find that being stressed around food can incite disgust and undereating. I rented a movies with nothing but eating scenes and loud noises. I wasted 5 euro. The second Is not to eat foods with very strong tastes which may mean you do not eat later. I have to disagree with you on the exercise if done carefully you can stay reasonably slim I can still wear some of mine (some are ok after weight gain) where I work out specifically not always bad. I am weight restored and healthy but have much to do from inactivity. I went the other way and my shoulders are too large for most women's dresses as I doubled my body fat. I have no confidence now and suffice to say 50 per cent of recovery failed. Every social occasion is humiliation. I am also more tired than ever in my life. The all or nothing approach isn't good recommend crochet as well as art it has a perfection. Great for unwanted thoughts and yes exercise. Running stresses hips in a good way and when I cut that I got osteopenia. Everyone is different.
