my Girl Faith did put her clothes around her house but switch them everyday to wear different stuff

Yes, that can definitely happen! If you don't redo their homes through Tom Nook, they'll display things you gift them and they can move around randomly between displaying them in their home, and their storage so they can wear/use them.
