A reason for that is because the definition of autism is much broader then it was 30-50 years ago. Doctors also do much more screening for it today. I’m on the spectrum also and I’m about to start my dream job with the Metro North Railroad at the age of 21.

You only see them more because we are no longer keeping them secret. Just like police crime, it’s not getting more it’s getting recorded
