Geopolitics are as much to blame for high inflation as high consumer demand, with China’sFF persistent Covid lockdowns impacting global supply chains and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine keeping upward pressure on oil and gas prices. The situation has some market watchers wondering if a two-decade era of globalization is coming to an end. Longtime China critic Kyle Bass doesn’t agree that globalization is over, but he’s doubled down on a belief that investing in countries run by dictators is never a good idea.

Thank you for your explicit content.The fact is BTC is the future of crypto and the question most people ask themselves is - if this is right time to invest? I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in this space in general or probably just naive, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I’d say that more emphasis should be put into trading, since it is way profitable than holding. I would argue otherwise China has been a strong partner not only to US but also global community. 1997- Asian Financial Crisis China was the country that saved ASEAN and Asia by not devaluing its currency thereby paying huge costs. During 2008 global financial crisis China was the only country that sparked global growth thereby saving USD, US constant money printing to fight wars in Afghanistan and Iraq had been paid by China. During the pandemic China was the only country manufacturing masks, hazmats, ventilators and many goods. The supply chain issue is not China’s fault, Suez Canal accidents, bad planing from Car makers to cut inventory because of pandemic, port congestion in LA ports, truck drivers strike, mass resignations by Us workers there are not China’s fault. My point is to solve an issue one must dare to look at root cause and not what’s easy.
You are correct. No one is looking to blame here. The West has decided to make China rich and itself poor. It’s just time to reverse course ‘somewhat’. The US and indeed the West needs to produce ‘something’ to create wealth. Both countries currencies are on a path to financial collapse. Not sure which will go first, but I suspect the whole world goes at the same time and it’s this decade for sure.
Search "China save US 2008 financial crisis" on UA-cam. You can't find a single video talking about it. Imperialist Americans do not understand the concept of appreciation, only power. The perception that China is a “strong partner” is way off. China only thinks of China and sign a contract and then change the rules before the ink has dried. China loves to steal technology and intellectual property from its “partners” and never compensate their partner. China’s biggest problem? The make up rules and laws as they go and reserve the right to change their minds at any time. Property and patents have no protection in China. What kind of partner is it that can put you out of business and steal all of your technology? That’s no partner that’s a thief. The CCP is coming to an end. The economic miracle in China is now a decline. And when their demographic problem overwhelms the economy later this decade? It’s a sinking ship time to bail out now.

Stocks valuations are at an all time high while at the same time we have the threat of inflation, rising interest rates and supply chain and productivity issues to deal with. Something is going to have to give. I think it will be the Markets that will have to correct. How much and when - who knows. Sanity hasn't prevailed in this bear market and I suspect it wont prevail in a correction/crash.

US leverage in the world is clearly waning while Russia, China and India’s leverage is growing. @@cristopherjeffery6737 Our workforce is not the best educated anymore. We have a shortage of quality engineers, and not enough STEM students in the pipeline either. TSM questioned whether we have the skilled labor to fabricate Semis anymore.

I tell my folks. Bet a lot of Altcoins will make millionaires. The crypto market has been on discounts due to the lower prices, this past couple months. New projects popping up and a lot of exchanges launching their native tokens. I will advice for newbies to dollar cost average; CRO GT, FDT, FTT, WOO, ASD. Almost 300 companies moved their HQs out of California due to unbearable high cost since 2018, almost half of them since last year. And this guy is accusing a private company of "geopolitical" motives for closing a low-margin meat-packing plant in CA. People like him thinks he is smarter while the rest of us are dumb and easy to manipulate with his lies. Becky won my respect for pushing back on Bass's ridiculous assertion, even though only ever so gently. Of all companies that moved out of CA recently, almost 40% moved to his home state Texas, so you know he should know better! You can tell the smug smile on his face that he knows he got caught lying.

Agree with Kyle, we need to publicize the real reasons for Tariff's - as in the case of Aluminum. The American people can deal with it. This ruse about blaming it on human rights offenses is ridiculous, everyone understands the justification to onshore strategic materials. However many industries are enjoying the economies of their foreign sources and they are using the political payoffs to keep them going. Globalization: Worst case scenario would be China occupying Taiwan and all the countries in the world divided between U.S/Europe/U.K collation and Russia/China collation. And start a new arms/economic race between these two groups. Energy Transition in the U.S: I think it will take at least a decade to see things getting into shape with regard to nuclear/renewable energy infrastructure, until then we have to depend on gas/coal for energy needs. Instead of relying on foreign countries for oil, the U.S government should support boosting oil production at home for some time. If the U.S can't avoid using gas, I see no reason why the keystone pipeline shouldn't be operational at least for the short term.

New refineries goodbye, because FED will not lend at low rates any more. Energy infrastructure no matter which one is idea too late, because of monetary policies in the future. Should of built them in low rates environment.

How long have fossil fuel companies lobbied against modern rapid transit and sage standards? How much money?
Globalization in and of itself isn't' bad. The problem is non-diversification, and allowing national security related supply chains to be dominated by fragile or unfriendly countries often intent on subsidizing that dominance for leverage. Globalization with national security taken into account makes us all wealthier though.
Finally someone described energy issues accurately without the ignorant, unrealistic shill of immediate, instantaneous "green" energy. We'll get there at some point for sure, but for now even 10 year old kids know that we need ALL energy types on the table for use.
