Thanks for the insight, you have a lot of wise words. I'm trying to sort through the next parts of my transition, hysto is coming up in the next few months and phalloplasty will be next. I'm not sure how I'll feel if/when I have phallo but when I had top surgery it was definitely a feeling of "this is normal, this is right" the moment I woke up after surgery.

Thank you, I really appreciate it :)
I honestly thought I would be over the moon happy when I first saw my results or have a meltdown or something just because of how long I had been trying to have this surgery but nothing like that happened. It has been more of a slow burning happiness that with each passing day I just feel more and more grateful and excited for the future.

Thanks for all of the information. I'm a little freaked out about how I'm going to handle all of that and keep my mental health intact but I know it'll be worth it. It definitely feels right. How has the pain been since then?

The thing that kept me laughing and moving forward was watching Friends on Netflix, it was just funny and uplifting and distracted me from what was going on. I would suggest finding a good positive show or list of movies to watch while in recovery.
I am still experiencing some pain as I'm starting to get more feeling in my genitals and arm, its not unbearable but its enough to cause discomfort.

I had surgery in Montreal with Dr. Belanger. Thanks, I'm doing so much better mentally now than I was at the beginning!
