Great to see you Eddie back out there, Julie & Sinclair too. We love you 3! Love that spot at Loch Rannoch also. Great stuff. Take care Linda & Mark 👍🏼🏴 ⛺️ 🔥 🥃
Yes!!! Great to see you 3 back out camping together - and a nice array of tents as well, I always liked the look of that MSR Sinc and Julie have now, and you know how much I love the Kuiu Eddie lol. The metal clips can be quite fiddly, especially with cold hands, getting that last one done can be awkward. The secret is to secure the 4 metal clips first, it gives you a bit more wiggle room, then clip the rest of the tent up. And when taking it down take those big clips off last. First on, last off. There's been a few times I've struggled with the last one and I've not bothered clipping it together and it's been fine mind. Nice to see you guys head to Rannoch later on, it looks a bit of a different layout to last time I was there 2yrs ago. Enjoyed the vid Eddie, hope to see you upload a bit more when you're able :) atb DVS
Ah The Bastardos!!! ha ha :) Nice film Eddie Glen Doll and Loch Rannoch brilliant mate beautiful sunrise you got there👍 . No been up in the Glen Doll area for a wee while now seems the wind has done a job on they trees pity that. I was at Cramond years ago and it was baltic the wind was mental vowed never to go near the place ever again lol! Good to see you oot big man and great to see Julie and Sinclair oot tae. GREAT STUFF see ye later mate, peter
Hello Eddie. It's great to see you out camping and having a good time with your friends. Trying to catch up with UA-cam as I have been working in Scotland for the last 8 months with no WiFi lol. Really enjoyed watching. Atb Steve 👍
Hello Eddy, at last yer oot, great to see you pal and looking well, good to see sinclair and Julie as well. Nice wee trip that was , cheered me up seeing you 3 back out and about. Take care Eddy and I am looking forward to your next one . 🥃🏴🥃🏴👍
Nice to see the three of you out for a camp Eddie! Some fantastic views and always great to see the stars. I head out at 5:30am for my morning stroll and get to see Orion and a very bright Venus as well as the sunrise. I have the deer and birds for company. It was a very frosty 21f this morning but so far we have had a mild autumn and no snow yet. I've been walking a bit better, arthritis is still wicked so I know how poor Sinclair feels, it is like bone on bone with each step, but on we go. Take care, Ossie
Hi Ossis good to hear your still getting out and about and you do live in a lovely area. Yeah we all getting older but we all do what we can. You never get tired of a beautiful night sky , i'm a early riser too. Take care and regards to all the family.
I just kicked back and enjoyed that Eddie - great to see you back at Corrie Fee. I remember you and Sinclair there some years ago - another winter adventure I think. Sorry to hear of Sinclair's injury. I've been injured this last 2 years - it's worrying and frustrating. A decent soup by Julie and I'm sure your tea was top rate. Digging that tent by the way and the BBQ later - a lovely spot. Well, good going. As always all the best. Mark
Hi Mark good to hear from you ,i've had a difficult year but thats part of life . Yes had a great winter camp with Sinclair ,up there several years ago. Its a bugger being injured i've had sore knees for years hiking downhill i always wear knee supports and they certainly help. Julie always cooks proper food on our camps which is great although its extra weight to carry, i would take a boil in the bag thing. I get back watching my usual suspects soon so i'll be commenting then ATB.
@@ScotsWildcamper Ah, I do remember Eddie - sorry to hear of how tough things have been. I was right about that winter trip then. Hey, I use a cane for long distances now - so yeah get how an aid works alright. Good on Julie - some great times minus the boiled bag stuff. Hey, in your own time. I wish you the best.
Good stuff, looked like a lovely place I'm quite new to your channel, never commented, but I know what (or rather who!) you mean when you say the Kuiu is a 'Donna tent' (the wonderful DVS, yes?) Also loved the hat, wouldn't mind one myself. Thanks for sharing Take care All the best 👍 Dave and Buddy* (*the doggo)
Thanks Dave good to hear from a new person , i check out your channel. The hat was a 2 for 1 deal lol. Ive met Donna several times and i love her vids. ATB.
Just watch the vid bud.. No lost yer touch! Good start to getting out and getting the confidence back.. Need to take that lesson personally.. Loved being drawn from Cramond to Glendoll. What a mess the wind left behind... Not the same place.. Things change eh! You got Rannoch perfect... That time of year... Absolutely! Fond memories....bad it should be ! See you shortly Eddie... perfect!
Great stuff mate. Good to see you and sinky and wor julie oot. Looked a nice night in the massive tent. You’re right I have camped on cramond it was “interesting” 😂😂. Hope you get more camps done catch ya later. 👍
Hi Douglas gear only has to function TBH ,its good to have better gear but its only personal choice and how much you want to spend. If i still had my zephyros 1 i'd still be happy with it i think. ATB.
Hi Eddie. Hope you're well. I was thinking about buying the Kuiu but there's very little UK info available. Only you and Donna Senior seem to use them. Would you recommend it as a 3 season tent? Also, do you think it would stand up to the Cape Wrath? Finally, does the doorway flap like a pigeon in a wheelie bin? All advice gratefully received mate. 👍
Great to see you Eddie back out there, Julie & Sinclair too. We love you 3! Love that spot at Loch Rannoch also. Great stuff. Take care Linda & Mark 👍🏼🏴 ⛺️ 🔥 🥃
