Thought those honkers were gonna run right into you lol It always amazes me how fish avoid treble hooks. I get snagged just by looking at them…🤦🏻 Great rainbow at 3:20👏 That brown at 11:50 tho👍 Good jumpscare at 12:47😱😂🤣 Love the drone cut from above of you fishing.👌 So the brown took off quicker than the rainbow and you said their more feisty. Is there a hierarchy as to which ones are more hearty than others? Do all of them have issues with being delicate? It’s like largemouth and smallmouth bass. They are both pretty resilient, but the smallies put up quite the fight - as you found out with Jared. Absolutely love the areas you film in man! Such beautiful catches Ryan - great video!
The browns seem to be more resilient, and I've never lost one. Rainbows, I've had them get hooked in the gills. Same deal with brook trout... Whether there is a hierarchy, I'm not sure I know enough. Browns are definitely aggressive and used to attacking some tough prey. That's all I know, but as always, thanks Joe!
@@JumbleTronChannel Every now and again you get blessed with days like you and I had this year. Usually just being in the moment in beautiful locations makes it all worth while. It took a lot of work to find those big fish close to home for once. It doesn’t happen that often, but sometimes you get lucky.
I’m with you, when they eat last second, it can be startling for sure. What a wild day! They sure were aggressive. Glad you went to something you’re familiar with. Clearly you showed up and made them dirty water critters hungry! -Marc
One of the things I like about trout fishing is not only the fact that they are the most beautiful fish but they inhabit some of the most beautiful waters. Great Video Ryan with some gorgeous fish in some gorgeous scenery. Thanks for taking us with you.
Excellent intro as usual Ryan. You have really captured the river in all its beauty. Good fishing 🎣 Beautiful fish. Awesome show man.. 5:40 looks like a dream home 🏠
That was an incredible day of fishing, Ryan!! Beautiful rainbow trout, beautiful brown trout and a beautiful place to be catching them! That strike right by the shore was impressive. Fantastic video, my friend!
Loved it, Rye! Awesome day at that creek. Enjoyed watching those browns surface breaking and skipping around. Without a doubt one of my favorite fish! Beautiful drone shots blended in too. Saw that solid rainbow catch man, sweet!!
Loved the beginning Ryan, just beautiful. After the early self-releasing fish, the switch of lures paid off nicely. Great session and thanks so much for sharing with us all. Cheers!
Ryan, loved the video. An active day in the dark water. You do such a good job with your production. The drone shots add alot to the videos and the music was perfectly mixed. Love when they hit those Rapala!
Fantstic footage of the ducks flying past you! Tough luck on those trout that fell off in the begining. Awesome drone shot of you above in the river too. Nice browns! What a contrast of colors in each of them. Beautiful location JT! TV-quality editing as usual! Great video and can't wait for the next.
@@JumbleTronChannel Thanks so much! It has been hot in NC and I have not had the extra time to fish much in the past month. I hope to go in the next couple days ... You're so right to keep that lure in the water till you see it nothing following behind 👍 some of my best catch was like that and I was scared to 😂 spectacular view of the mountains gorgeous place to fish congratulations on all your catch 👊 stay safe and blessed out there my friend ⚓ Tightline 🎣
Appreciate the kind words. It normally looks even prettier than this, we just had a ton of rain in May. We're usually a desert! Thanks for stopping by👍
Dude ! That was an epic day for high water levels and bad water clarity. They kept smacking it right infront of you! So do you think that big rainbow was your PB rainbow? You need to get a deeper net if you keep catching them giants hahaha. Looked like the new combo worked out great too. Great session Ryan 👊
Possibly my PB rainbow, but definitely PB for a Colorado rainbow. I may have caught similar ones out East. That new combo is a good one, but that pole is like a wet noodle. Almost too flimsy, but it's fun once you catch one😂 Thanks for watching 👍
@@JumbleTronChannel 😆 well I guess you woke up In Colorado. But don’t sleep on Arkansas trout fishing. Some world class trout fishing in North part of the state
Those fish were hungry! Maybe with the dirty water they couldn't see you as much and would hit the bait at your feet. You got some real chunks! Watch out with bringing more rods, you will end up like me hauling around a ton of gear before you know it. 😋
Totally agree about the water helping me in that regard. I already feel like you with 2 fly rods and 2 spinning rods 🤣 Plus it's hard to find a place to set them this time of year with it so overgrown.
Just curious. Guys in my area fish rivers at night, targeting trout, with rats on conventional gear. Have you ever tried a rat? I was wondering because you were fishing in a higher flow and smallmouth bass seem to like rats on higher flows. I wonder if trout out in your area eat rats?
I have a rat lure that I'm eager to try out, but I've often wondered the same thing. There's definitely rodents, maybe not actual rats there, so it might work. I'd think it would work better in the lower flow, but hard to say cuz the water would be so clear. I might have to try this🤔

Great day for ya! Awesome
If only they were all like this, right? Still these browns don't compare to your monsters!

Great day on the river. I would love some of the cool air and water. Great edits. Top notch job. 👍🏻
Yesterday, the high was 66... we've had a few warm days, but it's been a rather cool first half of 2023. Thanks for the kind review Jon!
Wow, not only did you catch a bunch but some real dandies too. Do love the scenery too.
The water is much prettier when it's clear, but I'm not complaining or disagreeing with you! Thanks Steve👍

No kidding that was an awesome day! I was convinced my last trip was gonna be bad because of the conditions but you just never know!
Muddy water = good conditions in my head now! Thanks for stopping by!
Muddy water is about all I have down here. Hard to find anything over 2-3 foot of visibility unless the conditions are perfect

The browns are all wild... the rainbows are stocked from time to time, but I don't think they have to stock all that many.
