Omg... You are the first UA-cam cricket channel that has literally helped me. I was a custom framer using Wizard & Eclipse mat cutters as well as manual mat board cutters, so I knew there has to be an option!!! Most cricket channels talk, talk, talk and talk some more. Ain't nobody got time for that!

I am a new Cricut user trying to figure out how to use design space. Your video was exactly what I needed for a birthday card project. This is going to be very useful for future projects. Thank you for sharing.
you are VERY welcome! I have resources on my website including free handbooks you can download and a Cricut Reminder sheet www.shawnmosch.com/cricut-design-space-classes/
thank you so so much for breaking this task down to my level. I have watched many other videos, but hands down yours helped me immensely as a absolute beginner :)
You would have to cut them one at a time, since you can only have 2 things selected for slice to work. For this example, I would have kept making smaller rectangles inside of the center piece, getting smaller each time.
Yes, you can! It will still use the Slice option but the location of the button will be in a different place. I have a whole handbook specifically for working on mobile devices www.shawnmosch.com/product/teach-me-cricut-design-space-for-ipad-handbook/
Thank you SO much for this, your instructions are super clear and extremely helpful. I’m new to Cricut, my baby is fresh out of the box and I need to create a frame for on top of a couple of boxes... I’ve been looking at design space like aliens just delivered it... lol Definitely new subscriber, thank you!
I have figured this out just now but what I wanna know is will it duplicate the frame if I press duplicate or do I have to go through all the steps every single time? I am making small frames that I’m going to cut out on wood for pendants hollowed.
I duplicated an item… AZ state border.. I want to print just an outline of it. I duplicate the pic, make one smaller by an inch, put it in the middle of other one. Slice…. And all it does it stick it together… I highlight both items as well…. Can you help?
Hi can you add a photo to a word like I want to subliminate a image on a cup but it has a frame you can insert photo then print it is that possible plz
on the computer version of Design Space shapes is on the left hand side of the screen. On the mobile app it is on the lower part of the screen. I have handbooks on my site, ShawnMosch.com that you can download to help you find all of the buttons.
You have valuable info, however, in my opinion you are talking to yourself instead of talking/teaching an audience that is watching and listening as you move, click, drag... etc.

LIFE SAVER ,, THANK YOUUUU
Thank you so much for this!
That is so easy! Thanks! How do I cut concentric rectangles?
You would have to cut them one at a time, since you can only have 2 things selected for slice to work. For this example, I would have kept making smaller rectangles inside of the center piece, getting smaller each time.
@@TheShawnMosch Thanks!

Love this. Can I do this on DS on my tablet?
Yes, you can! It will still use the Slice option but the location of the button will be in a different place. I have a whole handbook specifically for working on mobile devices www.shawnmosch.com/product/teach-me-cricut-design-space-for-ipad-handbook/

Never mind you answer my question on both counts lol thank you so much
Thank you so much!!

For that I would add an offset. Like this www.shawnmosch.com/offset-in-cricut/
mine keeps cutting wrong making the left vertical side thicker than than the right
I would make sure that you have aligned the rectangles over each other so that everything is centered properly
THANK YOU!!!!!!
How do i do this on a iPhone?
Hi can you add a photo to a word like I want to subliminate a image on a cup but it has a frame you can insert photo then print it is that possible plz
yes, you would bring the photo into Design Space and put it inside the frame, then flatten everything so you can print then cut it
How do i do this on a iphone
that would be like the instructions on this video ua-cam.com/video/Em6hFb0Ubgk/v-deo.html
I can’t find where your selecting shape
on the computer version of Design Space shapes is on the left hand side of the screen. On the mobile app it is on the lower part of the screen. I have handbooks on my site, ShawnMosch.com that you can download to help you find all of the buttons.
Why is it when I put in my size it changed it on me?
not sure . . . I might have to see what you are doing and what you might be clicking on
How do u cut it
When you click Make it in the upper right corner of the screen, then load the mat into the Cricut, it will cut the shape.
Just click Make It
the sound is to low i can barley hear i
here is a written out version of the steps to take www.shawnmosch.com/making-frames-in-cricut-design-space/
You have valuable info, however, in my opinion you are talking to yourself instead of talking/teaching an audience that is watching and listening as you move, click, drag... etc.
This is the stupidest way to add a border I have ever seen. I'm new to design space but it seems so counter intuitive
yeah, I didn't make the software . . . I just teach people how to use it!
@@TheShawnMosch I know, I just find it frustrating because it seems so backwards and low tech which makes it harder.
Can I do this if I want a square frame with a round opening?
Yes
Thank you so much!!!!
