- Mezco does it again, giving us just another excellent, fun One:12 Collective Batman. The Sovereign Knight is supposed to represent the Dark Knight at the height of his career and this conveys that perfectly. The Onyx edition is a high gloss and busy, which can be distracting at times, but completely works at the same time.

This figure looks like a combination of the Michael Keaton suit and the Christian Bale suit. Amazing
I'm not seeing any Christian Bale at all. It looks like a ridiculous Michael Keaton '89 suit.
Keaton suit X Arnold's Mr. Freeze bulkiness.
Looks mostly Keaton inspired, but I can see where you're coming from. It's got the interlocking armor plates of the Bale suit.

Great review Robo! He looks dope! Wasn't a big fan of depictions of Batman with the shorter ears at first but over the years its definitely grown on me. This figure also reminds me of when they changed his outfit in the comics to all black in the Knightsend storyline.
Wow this looks like an almost perfect recreation of the comic Batsuit from the 90s, which first appeared in the Batman: Troika story arc right after the Knightfall Saga.

My favorite Mezco Batman is still the Batman Beyond and then the first TDKR Batman.
reminds me of the old Toy Biz figure that came out with the 89 Batman movie.
This and the PX Blue are must haves for me, and fingers crossed 🤞 the 3rd Batman the Supreme Knight I believe is even better!

I'd love to see those batarangs in glossy black with bright yellow bevels, it would match the costume and also be a little like the Rebirth costume logo.

The dish from the sonic gun can come off and port into the small hole on the side for storage as well.

I'm waaaay late to Mezco. But just in time to get my favorite comicbook character, Moon Knight. I'd love for Mezco to do pulp characters like The Shadow, Phantom, and maybe Green Hornet and especially Rocketeer....if they haven't already.

The regular Sovereign Knight seems to get a fabric feel to their clothe, check the 2019 toy fair Mezco video. Soverign knight blue still gets the leathery clothe I think, not sure since isn't out yet.

Have there been any Marvel-DC crossovers where Wolverine fought Batman? My comics knowledge is limited. It would be awesome if that happened though.

The shiny parts on the suit witch I guess is supposed to be armor or something reminds me of the dark night rises movie suit minus the Cape, logo and head.

I preordered the regular version since I had bought the regular version of the acsending knight batman and want them to look constant next to each other. Im really hoping the bodysuit is the same as this one (with all the line work), because the one shown in toyfair without the lines didnt look right. Im thinking that it will since Mezco usually reuses a lot of their suits for their different versions just changing the colors (specially on previous batman figures) but then again with Mezco you never know, they might end up giving us an entirely different bodysuit without the linework (hopefuly not).

Reminds me of a Danny DeVito height cosplayer. If the head wasn't so ginormous, the bat emblem a lot smaller and it didn't have that ultra shinny gimp suit look..it would've came out alright.

Yeah, I got this one and used him in a stop motion animation depicting "the warehouse" scene in the Batman V Superman movie. So far, I would say that this is my favorite Batman figure in my collection. I'm supposed to be getting a Mezco set including Superman, Batman, and The Flash from the Snyder Cut - But it hasn't shipped to me yet. So, not sure if that new set will produce a better Batman for me. Great review - Love this figure!

I wish I had been able to get this one, but I think I'll be very happy with the PX exclusive Batman. That blue is just... The best. Cannot wait for the Keaton one though!

All of those head sculpts look so damn sexy!!! The short ears I think are my favorite, but that long eared battle damaged version is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
I'm having a hard time deciding between all these Sovereign Batmen, but I'm pretty sure I can rule out the MDX. I don't dislike the look, but I think the Ascending does all-black better.

That looks so damn cool. I only have the Mezco Popeye, but I might look into the regular version of this figure. If it has the "tech" detail on the costume anyway...I think that adds a lot to the figure.

Great review. Agree, first reactions I just saw the gimp suit. Hate the shine to it. Like the black and yellow 89 batman. Personally the black mask edition is the best one.

I really liked this Mezco, great review Robo. I hope Mezco never releases my favorite DC Character (Swamp Thing) cause honestly I wouldn't know how to buy one (being overseas) without being robbed price-wise and that would suck.

Supreme Knight Batman will probably also end up having 3 versions as well (at the very least the PX blue version and the Grey and black regular version)
@@abnuggler Mostly all the Batman figures Mezco did even the Dark Knight returns had 3 versions so it won't be surprised if they do that. I'm just hoping we get to see full shots of the final version soon. Even get a Robin despite Mez (owner of Mezco) not liking Robin which makes no sense to not make any figures of him. I hope too that the pre-order for James Gordon comes even the Batmobile they teased at.

I just started taking some of my action figures out of their boxes, and was wondering if you have any tips for keeping them in the best condition possible?
Best condition possible would be back in the box, haha. But you can put them in a Detolf from Ikea to cut down on the dust, or just shelves away from sunlight and keep them dusted regularly.

I think they confused catwoman from the tim burton movies with batman. As much as i love the design the shiny just doesn't fit the dark rubber body armor Keaton uses
I've just thought... What if Batman's bat ears were retractable? What if they moved around like real ears? Too much?

Yeah, looks great but Mezco needs to sort their ankles out. It's a reoccurring issue and they've known about it for long enough to fix it by now
Agree, I think that's my biggest gripe at this point. These are a little better than my Captain America who falls over backwards constantly, but not as good as it could be.
@@TheFwoosh that's what I don't get though. When they test the figures, surely part of that is whether they can be posed, or even stand up properly?

There isn't a grey Onyx version unless you mean the blue and grey Batman then yes. Even the regular release which is classic Black and grey since you can't go wrong with any Batman figure and Mezco shows they love Batman a lot
David Marrero ya, i have the batman beyond and the ascending knight and love them both. I think ill probably buy the blue/grey onyx batman for the classic colors
@@reyking8296 Nice I gotta get the Batman Beyond soon especially since I grow up on the series it is disappointing that it didn't come with an unmasked Terry head sculpt. Also I have 2 of the Ascending Knight Batman the regular and the blue one. Also for sure the PX one looks great also the PX Exclusive isn't called Onyx lol the Onyx one is this version since Onyx refers to a black-ish grey color which is what the Mezco Exclusive one is. While the PX is just blue and grey but it haves the same detail design as this version. Also interesting thing I saw the regular release will include the unmasked head that's going off by the Toyfair catalog from February. So it's strange that Mezco didn't update their product description.

The Fwoosh well that’s a shame, but the important part you collect what ya like, I just like the 3.75 because I grew up with them, fairly easy to customize and had a whole lot of vehicles(the vehicle part is probably the best reason). In conclusion, can’t wait to see more of your videos👍
