Kristine Warmhold: Harp Connections Episode 39

German harpist, Kristine Warmhold, is best known for her love of harps and also her vast collection of sheet music for them. Kristine studied recorder and harpsichord at university and has a diploma in instrument pedagogy. She taught recorder, guitar, and flute at various music schools before she turned her focus to teaching on the harp while maintaining a career as a freelance musician. In this interview, Kristine shares how some of her personal challenges in life (including a rare condition called radioulnar synostosis) has shaped her relationship with the harp, her musical inspirations, and her love of small harps and performing.

When I was first looking into harp I discovered Kristine and from the moment I heard her some of her pieces I was inspired to give harp a go to reach the goal of playing her tunes ! She is so incredibly inspiring to me and her style and pieces have found a place in my soul ❤ I have purchased many of her pieces already and they are on the top of my harp folder as a reminder to keep trying to reach my goal
