  • Withholding of feeds made the chicks very restless. They called incessantly, constantly poking their heads out of the nest hole.
    As the weather took a turn for the worse, the parents resuming feeding, seemingly aware that conditions would not be conducive for their chicks to fledge.
    The Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker is a common resident in Singapore.
