I had a brute force that’s been running my whole life. They are stupidly reliable. Just got it fixed back up after 2 or 3 years of it sitting and runs like a top.

I'm not hard to please, I'm still tickled with my 04Kodiak450 4x, has straight rear axle as well. As long as ground clearance of around 9 to 10" can be achieved by tire size, straight axle has its advantages as with on road vehicle's with it. Sure irs is more comfy, my staright axle will last several lifetime if maintained. That generally speaking can't be said with irs setups, way more moving parts to break. Kawasaki I assume just said heck with the irs, because all their lineup with irs anyhow has the least ground clearance of about any ATV manufacturers(except Renegade etc). This among many reasons I don't like Kawasaki utility atvs... Excuse me... And apparently sport utility atvs as claimed this is now classified as😆😏🤦🚶. Thanks for sharing!
