Nicely done Shane. Those did end up looking really nice. This would be great for a basic CBG headstock cuz you probably wouldn't have all the contours/curves to work around and you could drill the tuner holes after you place the plastic. Super simple but a great idea. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
You could "drill" the holes for the tuners the same way as you did for the truss rod nut. It would be cleaner. Not that it matters too much since the holes are covered anyway.
Hey Shane great vid! Those look very nice :):) I have a question; Im planning to reshape a headstock, meaning cut some bits off, and relocate one tuner (drill a new one). This is already a finished headstock so what would your suggestions be for the tools/method- what should I be careful about. Best

Pretty sweet great accent idea. You can create interesting shapes to protect the areas on your CBG's that get more wear than others.

That is so awesome! I'm thinking about doing that myself. I just wish maybe they had more colors to choose from
What a Great idea!! Thx

Make a fretboard with one
I would use drum wrap, applied with some sort of serious epoxy for a fretboard. I wouldn’t trust peel and stick for all the wear and tear
