It has been a while since we have seen the black leopards. In this video you will see some help from our trusted friend Dr Caldwell, claws can cause issues for the older animals. It is always reassuring to be able to address problems like this. It gives a chance to see the claws up close. You will notice I am checking the animals ongoing and more to follow on this story - who will it be next week ? Thanks for the incredible support for the Last Lion film and for all the support this year. Please leave your thoughts in the comments below, I try to read as many as possible.
Can’t wait for next part. I always feel such pity for them when they are waking up from anesthesia. 😊
What a joy to see Coal and Nikita again. They look amazing, happy to see Coal get his nails trimmed. Thank you, Dr Caldwell for teaching us about their nail upkeep, I've learned more today (and his bedside manner is the best). It looked like, all Yame needed was a head rub with George, what a lovely sight! Can't wait for part 2, I look forward to Friday's video with Kevin and his furry friends! 😍🤩🐆🦁❣
So great to see the leopards. It has been a while. Dr Caldwell is always interesting as he takes time to explain. Learned some interesting facts about claws. Loved seeing you walking through the areas. Gave me a different perspective of the size of the place. Loved seeing George and Yamne. Particularly the head but. Look forward to next week.🙏🙏🙏🦁🦁🦁❤❤❤
You could see immediately a slight difference in the Docs affection for the leopards. not more or less than for the lions just different.
He put his hand on Coal and gently stroked him. Then he said he's beautiful, so soft, he was not wrong about him being beautiful.
You got some serious exfoliation from Nikita.
Nosey me has three questions for you.
1 what does 'lakker' mean?
2- Are the leopards' tongues less rough than the lions?
3- l watched your documentary on searching for a black leopard where you cast the pug marks from 16 different leopards to identify the individuals in a huge area.
I saw you with a very young Coal and Nikita in the documentary and you hoped that they would breed. Obviously, this was a long time before your no breeding policy.
They were unsuccessful in the documentary and l was wondering if they never did have cubs as l cannot see you letting any cubs from her go.
Thanks for a nice update and video of these gorgeous animals.
Only Kev would called a Black Leopard…. Kitty 🤣
Nah. I'd be here kitty kitty kitty psst psst psst. Do the same for a puma as well.
Kitty-cats...LOL.
6:14 "Can I stick a camera on your gun?"
"Yeah"
"Thanks"
What a casual conversation 🤣
I love all the animals that call your sanctuary home, but I think the black leopards have a particularly special place in my heart because their expressions, reactions, and behaviors are so astonishingly similar to house cats - more than any other big cats, except possibly the American cougar.
Always love when Dr Caldwell comes. He takes such good care of the animals. Kevin you're on top of what all the animals need.
Dr Caldwell is the best, thank you
I swear people I’m around probably get sick of me talking about Kevin .. I’m always bragging how he has Dr Caldwell on speed dial and doc comes out and like Kev, takes such good care of these munchkins
😍
❤❤❤
I love how you call them "kitties" like they are just big ole house cats!! Love seeing the leopards! Can't believe Cole is 21yrs old!!!! Wow still young at heart, goes to show how well you take care of them Kevin!! Along with the fab Dr. C!!!!
Can't believe how gentle those cats are with you and their age blows my mind! So beautiful! Thanks so much for the wonderful vid - made my Friday!
Yes Leopards! Tis mind blowing indeed ! And all the licks 😊❤😊❤
Yep. I can't do Friday without Kevin's Kitties fix.
The amount of effort it takes to properly care for these animals, makes me appreciate your organization even more.
As much as I LOVE Bobcat as my favourite lion, to me, NOTHING is more amazing than these beautiful black leopards. The fact that Nikita allows Kevin to inject her, knowing how strong & independent they are, has always remained in my mind as an incredible bond & level of trust that surpasses logic - Beautiful creatures !!!
Watch Luna Pantera channel if haven't, soo beautiful... mother rejected baby leopard wouldn't feed so lady adopted 8 days old. Raised with Rottweiler. Absolutely enchanting videos.
@@justmelv23 Moments from the walk, when Luna is tired of walking so Viki drags her down the snowy path, on her back, by the front paws. All the times she stands on Viki to keep her paws warm. Washing Venza. Dog chases stick, cat chases dog. 😹
6:59. The tenderness with which this wonderful vet treats his patients is never lost on me.
I love how the cats let you mess with their toes. They have so much love and trust in you. Such wonderful relationships you have with them. 😊😊😊
appreciate the great audio quality....leopard's tongue sounds like sand paper!
Good to hear this feedback !
That was quite a nice little hand & arm bathing 😊
Also, it feels like sand paper. I get groomed by my domestic cat sometimes. It's due to papillae. Papillae are white keratin protein spines.
Seeing Coal and Nikita again is a welcome mood lift for me. Beautiful, adorable cats - thank you for providing such a good home for them.
So satisfying to hear the sound of the crunch when their nails are trimmed. I'm sure they feel better after their manicures. Now if I can only get my cats to Dr. Caldwell to get their manicures done too😁
Just amazingly beautiful. Finding so much peace in what you share with us. Thank you Kevin. There are not enough words to express the joy ❤ God bless you
What kind words ! pleased to hear, thanks for the support
@@LionWhispererTV
A pleasure! And the 3 Amigos are doing so good as well. 💛💛💛 it's fun to catch up and follow them. Take care🙏
Sweet comment. I hope Kevin realizes how much he helps those of us that are alone. His videos are my therapy. God has given him a special gift.
@@Debra.Justice
I agree ❤️ thank you for your kind words as well. Indeed, the therapy in the battle here may be the comfort we seek, nice to meet you🌿
@@kimkurbitz8503 Nice to meet you as well. I’ve met many kind people in the comments from Kevin’s videos. We all are extended family that appreciate Kevin and love his animals. Pray you have a blessed Easter weekend. Btw, I live in Tennessee in the US.
It's too adorable when lions make their "tight face" and wrinkled nose😃
These leopards are so beautiful and well cared for. It's such a treat to see them. ❤
Thanks a mil
Reminds me of my black cat Lomu who passed away after a short ilness last week. Yes I named him after legendary All Black rugby player Jona Lomu. Lomu loved to lick/wash my ears while I was asleep. That's how he woke me up every morning at 6-ish O'Clock, the past 15 years: "I want Breakfast..Now!!"..I still wake up every morning at 6-ish O'Clock thinking Lomu is washing my ears..I miss him very much. He was one of my best friends..ever. RIP Lomu.❤❤❤
It's crazy how we sometimes don't realize just how much pets become part of our lives like that. I had a bunny for almost 11 years, she died just last November. I was always in the habit of saying "Hi bunny I'm home" whenever I came back home from work or wherever, and I occasionally get halfway through saying it just out of reflex even now, and every single time I do it breaks my heart all over again.
It's always cool to see the black leopards Kevin. It's hard to believe Coal is 21 years old ... he looks so much younger!
I just cant put into words how happy I am to see the black leopards. I appreciate all the animals and what Kevin and his team but the black leopards are just such showstoppers. Love from S.Africa
your dedication to look after these animals is priceless. In return they accepted you as one of their pride.
I have no words, walking careless around stunning wild animals, and also been loved by them.
Love seeing the black leopards! They are so beautiful 😍 Nice manicure doc! 💅🏼
I love seeing the black leopards just as much as seeing the lions. They are so beautiful and also mysterious.
When people talk about the grace of cats, the leopard is the first animal that comes to mind.
Happy Easter Everyone!
It's great having Dr Caldwell, the work he does is fantastic Kevin.
Thanks
Thank you so much
Kevin, can’t believe the amount of dedication and love you have for these animals! You have worked tirelessly to ensure they are well taken care of for so long! It would be nice sometime for you to show the new subscribers how much you do on a daily basis…the filming etc. So impressive! Thank you! ❤
21! omg, this cat looks amazing! He doesn't move like he is that old either.
Kevin has the greatest job in the world
Love seeing the black leopards ❤❤ such beautiful cats ❤❤
I think one of the most interesting things I've learned on this channel is how the black leopards have an "alone" space and a "shared" space. So fascinating to me. Thank you for taking us along on your blessed journey. ❤
I always love listening to Dr. Caldwell. This time my black house leopard watched and she agreed that claws should be cut infrequently. 😊❤
The amazing Dr Caldwell. Cole will feel so much better.
Kevin, you must really trust those black leopards to get that close to them. Trust and respect them. They are beautiful animal ❤️
I love the black leopards! It is good to see them again. It’s wonderful to watch how you take such great care of all the animals.
We always look like we’ve been through a wood chipper after cutting our rescue kitties nails 😽🙀😻
OMG, those yellow eyes against the black fur, so beautiful and so intimidating 🙂
Am I the only one who gets excited when I see a notification that there's a new video on The Lion Whisperer channel? These just make my day. Thanks Kevin!
I'm like Yame, its impossible for me to hide how I'm feeling. Even if I'm silent, my facial expression will tell you everything you need to know.
Great video
Its was awesome to see Nikita and Coal🖤
I cannot believe that Cole and Nikita are what-21?? Wow! I have a black cat and I call him my micro mini black leopard.🐈⬛
*Spa day at the sanctuary. * Exfoliation for you Kevin and mani pedi for Cole. 😂So happy for the visit with the black leopards. So different and such robust and playful personalities they have. And beautiful Nikita with her long wispy whiskers. Love it! Thanks again Doc!! 🧡🤍🤗
Always great to see Doc Caldwell cause takes excellent care of the animals.
Relief for Cole, nice. 👑🦁
I am so glad you guys take such good care of your older animals. They need you all the most so they can enjoy their life instead of suffering. Your cats are so beautiful ❤❤
감사합니다.
Thank you so much
Love when Dr. Caldwell comes out, and we, as well as Kevin, are learning things about the animals he comes to treat.❤
gosh Nikita is so incredibly beautiful 😍 stunning
Thank you Kevin for sharing these precious memories with us the Doctor always explaines everything he does so we can understand what he is doing and why.
They are the most gorgeous cats..very impressive claws!
Cole is such a beautiful cat ❤❤it boggles my mind that he's 21. You and your team have taken such good care of him. Nikita is so sweet she'll let you look at her nails as long as she can lick the salt off of your skin❤😁
Sneak preview Thor is being naughty😁😁
Finally, the animal everyone wanted to see.
More leopards and hyenas plese
we try to show Lions, Hyenas, Leopards ongoing, thank you for the support
Leopards are so close to house cats, it's adorable. Of course, they are very much not house cats! Love their personalities.
Kevin you’re a magnificent man… so much respect to you & your team for offering all the love & care to the animals… LOVE you & your animals ❤❤
such kind words to read, thank you
Always love seeing you out spoiling and giving love to the big cats. Every video we get to see and experience the love from half way around the world. Thank you Kevin
SO good to have a Catch-up with the magnificent Black Leopards with their beautiful markings ❤😊❤ good job Doc and Kevin
Our black cat was so good, he would sit very still when we trimmed his claws, and then get his treats afterward.
Such beautiful creatures. So glad they have Kevin to care for them.
2:22 compared to Meg recently, this leopard is very chill while Kevin checked the claws despite being as 'elderly' as Meg and on a hot day too.
every week it is great to watch the kind of good care and love all the animals in Kevin's care get but at the same time it is kind of sad he has to call the vet and sedate a 20-something year old leopard just to cut a few claws as the cat doesn't use them properly enough anymore due to guess what, old age. this is both very expensive for Kevin and stressful for the cats. anyway, thanks for showing it to us and enjoy the holidays. 🖖
The leopards get a manicure and Kev gets a bath!!!
😁😁😁😁
Those are some serious 'murder mittens'🐾
Love Dr. Caldwell's visits ... always learn something. Thanks Kevin!
Kevin “Saltlick” Richardson 😂
The comedy…..in seeing how the leopards try give admiration back to Kev no matter what.
I love the way they lick your legs kevin. Enjoys the salt! 👍 😂 Dr Caldwell is a legend. 🥰 🤗
Always excellent videos. I can’t say that enough about Kevin. Wow at those “fake” nails on Nikita & beautiful boy 🙄😆 I still can’t get over people saying and thinking that. These 2 are my FAVE black leopards (don’t tell Duke & Khan that 🤫). I remember Kevin saying one time that Nikita was one cat he could honestly say he fully trusted. That’s saying a lot coming from the expert zoologist himself. As always Kudos to Dr Caldwell for the amazing care and depth of knowledge in the veterinary world. ❤
Pawsome, having been to your sanctuary, I've met the cats. And hyena, you take really good care of them.
Yami and I are the same in that regard, our faces show exactly what we're thinking and feeling.
Awww, I just love Kohl and Nakita! I can hardly believe they are 21! They look fabulous! Thank you for sharing them with all of us! Looking forward to the next visit with Dr. Caldwell!💖
Love always seeing the leopards. They’re so beautiful.
Some important stuff is being done in this world and this is certainly one of them....
Seeing the ingrown nail just hurts. They are so stoic carrying their discomfort. I understand why but still….
I find it fascinating how the black leopards eyes change colour depending on the light
That's great how you take care of them beautiful leopards
All these animals are so lucky to have Kevin.
the size of those claws wow
It seems so beautiful and peaceful there. These cats are gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your animal adventures with us. God Bless you and yours. Stay safe.
How truly blessed the animals are in your care
Love the way you just Know Yame😂And those Black Leopards, well they certainly show their love for you. It's like they all do that, with their own separate personalities. 🦁🖤🐆
Always great to see the leopards!
Always love it when Doc comes so educational
💙🇦🇺💙
Fascinating, one of our family house cats got claws growing like this as well, like a big disc that grew into the paw pad. She was in her twenties as well.
it's remarkable to see Coal & Nikita in such good conditions ❤ extraordinary to see 🐈⬛🍀🍀🐈⬛ Hugs for the 4 adored kitties ❤💯
Nice to see Cole & Nikita!
Love the leopards, my absolute favourites...21 years old is huge. They are certainly getting the best possible care...and that they let you touch their paws while awake without any anesthetic is incredible. I hope poor Cole does not need many more treatments at his ripe age. Leopards in the while are not so lucky with such a long life
Just imagine those paws grabbed you!..... Jezz, & they are so affectionate - wow!
Fabulous video❤! Skin exfoliation for Kevin by the most wonderful black leopardess, manicure for Coal by a remarkable veterinarian and an incredible team of people, who out of love, dedicate their lives to the well-being of all animals ! At 21, Coal and Nikita still look stunning. An intervention carried out as always. Dr Caldwell's explanations are always so informative. Thank you all loving and caring for these fascinating creatures. Can't wait to watch part two of this fantastic video!❤🐾🐾❤️
I can't even do that on my little domestic cat. 😂
Wouldn't it be a Pawdicure? 😂
Within an hour CLUB!!!❤🎉
Love the Lion Whisperer and all the bonds he shares with these majestic creatures.
I Love cats, both big and small!❤
Happy Easter Kevin. To you and your staff and the beautiful animals.❤
Thank you Kev and crew, I love you all for all you do.
I'm sure Coal will feel much better now. Ingrown nails are so painful. Kevin, I live in the UK 🇬🇧 and some years ago I had a hell of a shock one evening just before dusk, I was driving to a place to take my Gsd for a walk and I saw what I thought was a dog walking up the road, but I couldn't see anyone with it. So I slowed down, and it walked across the road in front of me, and no kidding it was a big black cat possibly a Black Leopard, and looking at the height of your cats it was taller and the shoulders were more pronounced. The hair on the back of my neck stood up, cause I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I drove home in disbelief, and the next day I couldn't wait to tell the girls at the stables where I kept my horse what I had seen, and they said lots of people have the cat/cats, and sometime later a man with his wife was driving home in the same area as i had previously seen the cat, and he said 1 ran across the road in front of him, and he and his wife were shocked at what they'd seen. So I didn't think much more about it, but a few years on driving down a quiet road in a different area I saw another one not as big as the first one, but black again and jumped through a hedge and I said to myself that's a big cat, and then it clicked what it was. Also some kids were playing near a golf course and came home and told their parents they they had been attacked by a big black cat, and 1 of the boys jacket was torn. The parents didn't believe them, but 1 of the kids was a local vicars son, and he knew his son wouldn't lie about it. So he went to the area it happened, found a paw print and took a plaster cast of it and sent it to Bristol zoo. The results came back Puma, but Pumas are not black normally, unless as I was thinking, they could be breeding with the black Leopards, which is possible. We have a lot of sightings of big cats here in the UK every year. What are your thoughts on it Kevin?
I'm not Kevin, or anyone from his team, but puma and leopard aren't in the same subfamily. I don't think there's any chance at all of a cross between them.
I just love this show! Those big cats are awesome!!
I am always struck by the sleek beauty of the black leopards! Is their fur as soft and velvety as it looks, or is that a deceptive appearance? ALSO, even though they are getting old, I don't see any gray hairs... is that something that doesn't happen to them as it does to domestic animals? So love that easy laid back relationship you have with all of them! As usual, a bright spot in my evening- watching this!!! Love to you and all your creature friends from Granbury, Texas!
La belle panthère a fait un bon peeling a Kevin 😊
Thank you for showing the Leopard brothers, and Yami and George ❤❤
Great stuff Kevin, thanks. Have a good Easter.
