How to make a couch table for drinks and snacks

I show you how to make a simple and cheap mini coffee table that you can slide over your couch or sofa to rest your drinks and snacks or a a coffee table.
I use a simple timber butt joint with concealed pocket hole screws.
I bought a length of pine board from the local hardware store 300mm in width for $40.
300mm is the right size I found to fit a glass and plate of food.
The height of the table is 500mm and the snacks/drinks length is 450mm.
The heights and lengths will vary on your couch /sofa size.
