The Good Son (1993) - Mark (Elijah Wood), a young boy who loses his mother, must stay with his extended family while his father is away on business. Mark becomes acquainted with his cousin Henry (Macaulay Culkin). However, the extent of Henry's depravity becomes clear when Mark sees him kill a neighbor's dog and intentionally create a traffic pileup on the highway. After a supposed mishap on an icy pond with Henry's sister Connie (Quinn Culkin), Mark tries to reveal Henry's crimes before it's too late.
This film was criminally discriminated. Becuz Macauley was Hollywood's darling at this time period, ppl were more appalled that Macauley was playing such an evil character but ppl failed to understand that Macauley is playing a character that exists and we should watch out for red flags.
20:15 The opposite actually...I remember when it came out. That that cute boy from that funny movie could play pure evil had people talking...hes a great actor!

Loved your reaction to this! 😅 I am from Macaulays generation and it was pretty wild watching him go from the sweet roles he played in Uncle Buck, Home Alone and My Girl, to the pure evil of his character in this! 😱but just amazing acting from both Elijah and Macaulay- they killed it. Definitely check out The Hand that rocks the Cradle as someone else suggested - same era and same vibe.

Yo, are you a Kyle XY fan? Saw the poster in your background. Loved that show. Unfortunate all of it's viewers started watching Secret Life of an American Teenager and therefore got cancelled (Secret Life of an American Teenager was maybe one of the worst shows I've ever seen btw).
Hey! I am a Kyle XY fan. I watched it as it aired way back when. Loved it. I still remember the lackluster cliffhanger they left us on with the reveal some guy (don’t remember entirely) was Kyle’s brother or father? Remember the added storyline of his alien sister lol. Ah good times lol
I watched Secret Life when it aired as well for a bit. (I had time for both lol) that one definitely does not age well. ABC Family had some 🔥 shows. Also really loved Greek, Lincoln Heights & Make It or Break It

He was a evil psychopath who ended a innocent baby and tried to end his sister and mother not to mention that he probably sent some motorists to their demise. Him being a child as well is irrelevant but some kids do awful irredeemable things all the time. Having that soft mindset because someone is young can put your life in danger. Like that mother who allowed her tten son to still live with her after he s-ot his father k-lling him and got off scot free, only for him to m-rder her a year later. Evil is evil, no exceptions.
Hey brother. Had a few recommendations of films for you that I think you should check out: 'Straw Dogs' (2011), 'Bully' (2001), 'Breakdown' (1997), 'Radio Flyer' (1992) & 'Sleeping With The Enemy' (1991)..
All of those films are good movies with great characters & actors portraying them set against a foreboding darkness, be it an abusive father or partner, a crime they are keeping hidden, etc. I think you would really like some of those.. Keep killing it bruh..
