- Halfway through the stream, at 0:40:30 Einstein begins to talk and talks non-stop until the end of the stream. He begins by showing off his beautiful cornucopia for Thanksgiving and "What's color's" scarf from Birdie Brigader Liz. Einstein also "certified" his placemat from our doggo friend on Instagram. Marcia talked about Einstein's visit to the vet and Einstein's habit of picking his feathers.

🐦
Einstein Parrot is a very talkative African Grey Parrot! He lives with us in our home in Texas and was hatched on June 15, 1997. Einstein is a silly, smart, and popular parrot who loves to talk and entertain! (He is NOT the "Einstein" that was featured on the TV show Animal Planet.)

Everything belongs on the floor. That's Einstein's moto, and he's sticking with it. I really admire all of the generous people who give money to the parrot rescue every week. They are phenomenal people who genuinely love parrots.
I'm sending you Marcia, Jeff and of course Einstein lots of love and happiness for the holidays.
Well said! Thank you! Lots of love and happiness to you too!
@@einsteinparrot You're Welcome
Love to you and Einstein. I really enjoy your live streams. Thank you for your frank discussion of plucking. My adopted grey came to us plucked and I so hoped just being in our care would be the solution. How naive was I! Plucking is such a complex and frustrating situation for all of us. Of course I wish Einstein didn’t pluck, but I can also be less hard on myself because of you sharing your experiences. We are doing the best we can. Thank you so much!! Ps. My grey Tattoo loves CORN too!!
Thank you Jane! I’m so glad that my sharing helped you. There is still so much we don’t understand about parrots. It is frustrating. We can only do our best for them. Don’t be hard on yourself, all we can do is concentrate on what is in our control.
He is so cute and funny. Special little character.
I love Einstein! He has such a special personality….
All of the info you share is so valuable. I have had birds for almost 40 years and I always learn something new from you. Thank you so much for giving so much of yourself.
Thank you Jane. I get so distracted by Einstein when I try to explain something in these livestreams. It's really hard to watch him and keep my train of thought going too. LOL! I'm glad (and thankful) that you, and maybe others learn a few things!
We are staying home for thanksgiving as well. Staying safe is the greatest gift this year. Einstein always makes my day. Have a great day beautiful boy.
I Love Einstein, I have a Grey Too, Love Them❤️❤️🥰🥰
His brain fires on all cylinders almost constantly. He is so impressive! I don't know if you and Jeff know what a sampler is, but it takes any recording you make so you can play it back in any key on a keyboard. Einstein is a living, breathing "Sampler!" He has so many sounds stored in his brain that he can play back at any given time. He is one of the smartest and most articulate creatures on this Earth! You and Jeff are so blessed! I hear both your voice and Jeff's voice back to back!
🤣you’re so right! I’m not familiar with the term, but it’s a perfect description!
Well said!
Love you
Oh love you guys so much - things has been rough but guess we are in same boat . - Einstein ( Hugs )
Love my Sunday night's watching you Einstein and Marcia. You are a good Parrot. Love from IRELAND 💚💚💚
love watching this beautiful bird
He is very patient while you were talking, as soon as he saw you leaving he said see you later, then he started talking. So smart.
Love you, EINSTEIN! ❤
Marcie, Einstein is so precious. You and Jeff both seems so low key, and have such soothing voices. Einstein is lucky to be your baby!
Thank you!
I love how he finished his long speech with "bye-bye". 😄
I know it is hard to notice every comment , while trying to keep the camera on Einstein. I appreciate you noticing anything I say. I am new to the
Birdee Brigade and I had 2 African Grey parrots, 1 died 9 months ago & I miss him very much. I still have 1 & I try to give tips, because the bird who died was 56 years old and I have learned a lot about these birds. My parrot seems to have developed a scratching habit. She had a trip to the Vet and he suggested Parrot Red palm oil. She will eat it with or without food. Parrots are prone to liver issues so the Vet gives her milk thistle. Hopefully this will help people. Thank you so much for sharing Einstein with everyone! Love 💗 to everyone!
I enjoy watching Einstein every Sunday. I watch him for a change of pace, during the COVID-19 stay at home ordeal. As I have said I had 2 parrots 🦜, 1 died 1 still with me. I live alone and staying home 🏡 alone is very boring. Thanks 😊 again for Einstein! A kiss 💋 on the beak from
Mollie 🦅 & me. Good night 💤
1:08:15 instead of "duck duck, goose", Einy brings us "grape grape, cornl! 😂

Can't wait for my first live!!!! Next time for sure!💜💜💜✌
God bless you bby Einstein ..
He plays with his toys 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I like to listen to Einstein chat away in the background while I am working...and my absolute favorite (makes me giggle and stop whatever I'm doing to watch it every time) is when he plays with the shower drain...the way he shakes his head in a vigorous NO-NO, then makes sure the coast is clear, and goes for it! OMG, it gets me every time!!!
Hi there Einstein!
Another Sunday..🌻🌻🌻

Beautiful scarf. Hello Einstein.
Why don't we ever see his poops or for other UA-cam famous birds. This is a serious question. No joke. I love Einstein!!!
Hier ben ik weer mooie vogel .groeten uit holland
Have a great week.
You big, silly Birdie! You need a Bib, next time you eat carrots!
Thanks for showing the placement ♥️
Hi Einstein my darling❤
I thought of einstein tonight as I ate my broccoli 🥦.
The plucking reminds me of trichotillomania, which I have a mild form of. Endorphins, anxiety, and boredom.
Love you Einstein. Sorry you have to cut back on goodies
Was your home built in the early 80's? I had a bathroom that is almost duplicate to yours!! Same round tub, California/Hollywood marble, and separate shower! Also had a HUGE walk in closet with a mirror full length on both sliding doors. Wish I had kept that home. Was a Parade of Homes in 1982 and I bought it in 1992.
No, early 90s.
Home is where the Red-Butt is!
Or where we watch the Red-Butt!
that's a beautiful bathroom looks like something out of a magazine
"...lets go eat some corn!"
I feel kinda sad for Einstein - because I've heard they live a very long life, which means he'll probably outlive you. And then what happens to Einstein?? He'll miss you terribly. And how can he ever replace you as you've been such a good mommie!
love you to einstein
That way he can't wreck it no more
He shared his carrot with you ❣️👍🏽
my sister had a parrot like yours and he was bald he was a rescue but she had him for 5 or 6yrs

My friend has a parrot. She pulls feathers when shes got new ones coming through. The vet said it's like a kid wobbling and pulling baby teeth out when their grown up ones start coming through...

I’m trying to design beak masks and doggie mask and cat mask
😘
same here scarlet macaw, vet tried birdie prozac, didn't work.... she is healthy, just a feather picker, any suggestions
Hi!
Do you think that being home more often is affecting his plucking? As in hes used to being alone and hes not getting his alone time as much? Im not a bird owner but do realize that you and Jeff really do love and care for him
No, we have been home just as much in 2020 as we were in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Read about Einstein's feather picking here: bit.ly/EinFeathers
How did it go to the doctor for blood work I know this is just I'm going to say nothing I love Einstein
It's discussed in the video, watch and listen.
Yes, I talked about it in the stream. You must have joined late.
Actually Trina's such as almonds pecans walnuts and pistachios which you are likely giving your bird are the best things to feed him to lower cholesterol so don't stop feeding your bird nuts. Generally you cut back on the nuts if your bird is losing weights and you increase the carbs. If your bird is too heavy then you increase the tree nuts in the morning in order to make the bird feel full so they eat fewer carbs. Table salt is also associated with arteriosclerosis and also lack of vitamin c. The reason why table salt is bad is that it creates micro abrasions in the bloodstream because it has very sharp jagged edges as opposed to sea salt. So cut back on his carbs and salty snacks. I don't know how much he's under his birdie light I think you have one but you might want to increase that time I know my birds are under it for 8 hours a day and their feathers are all doing great
#320👍‼️🥰👩🏻🏫🕊‼️
Try to read the latest research on how tree nuts are good for you and your bird and they do in fact reduce cholesterol however don't be so afraid of increased cholesterol other than the fact it is likely a sign your bird is getting too much sodium chloride or table salt and not enough vitamin c. But don't just give your bird oranges probably just try a good liposomal type of vitamin c supplement
Hi Einstein Happy Thanksgiving.
However your voice takes it away for me No matter I'm only English After All.
From UK.
Do parrots see color
Yes they do. In fact they see in the ultraviolet spectrum.

Is he a boy?
Yes
@@einsteinparrot can he speak other languages, other than English?
@@kaijubeyondbelief8053 Not much. He speaks a few words of Italian and that's about it. ua-cam.com/video/46gKkHv92So/v-deo.html

Is Einstein pulling his feathers out? I've heard that this is a sign of stress in pet parrots. Does Einstein need another parrot for company? I know that if I had to spend all my time with an alien species pretty soon I'd be under some stress.
Humans are aliens? Second parrots are not good idea, if you have a bonded bird like eini or my Billy, they could see a 2nd bird as a rival for your affection, Billy has 6 parakeet friends who he's teaching to talk.
Yes I agree Marcia to take care of herself what's so hard about wearing a mask so I just don't get it anyhow I'm not going to harp on that I would like today so I'm watching the recording okay you guys I love you be safe
It's Jamaican scarf
