It really rubs me the wrong way when people compare Slay the Spire to Hearthstone. They are similar so far in as they both have cards, but Slay the spire is not a ccg! It has much more in common with a game like Dominion, except single player. Slay the spire has as much in common with hearthstone as it does with poker.
JP seems to have difficulty understanding the concept of card games... Yes, drawing from your deck is random. If you have a good deck, you don't draw "cards that are awful". This does however happen in deck building games; I don't see why Hearthstone and this kind of thing would get compared.
I think Subnautica keeps like a ton of the shit in the game rendered, not just your base. That's probably 80% of the lag, the other bits probably memory leak issues.
Obviously not if you're comparing it to NMS. It's pretty much the exact opposite of NMS in its design concept. Procedurally generated mess vs. hand-crafted experience. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get into it, but I picked it up after everyone kept raving about it. I'm near 50 hours of playtime now. 50 cents per hour of entertainment, not bad in my book. Actually playing > watching streams.
Thanks JP for uploading these so quickly after the twitch broadcast, makes third shift so much more bearable :)
27:27 my favorite part xD
The butter-smearing dance is so spot-on.

My jaw dropped at the maid part, when I was playing...
Zeke frozen for the last 3 episode and no one noticed LUL
Arsene actually is really powerful at max level though... If you minimax his build you can literally one shot high level mobs.
Was pretty cute seeing Cohh fanboying over Persona 5 haha never would have thought :P
1:20 OH PERSONA! it's that game you are talking about..
fyi to clarify there are No auto saves in Subnautica, Cohh is a dingus, save regularly
I don't know how it is now, but it used to be that the only way to save is to go inside your life pod or inside your base where it would auto save.
that only saves Where you spawn if you die

Ryuji is waifu.
Subnautica is just No Mans Sky but underwater. Looks even worse imo
Damn, it must suck to be so ignorant
Ignorant? You mean watching hours of streams is not enough?

Well, it is. Its gathering, exploring, building, constructing... Setting is different but the gameplay loop is exactly the same.
Subnautica is NOTHING like No Man's Sky. One is completely procedural the other is handcrafted, even the gameplay loop differs considerably.
