Finally finally finally we're getting the rank and file legion of gruesome warriors of Saurons forces on the channel! Morannon Orcs!
More heavily armoured and tougher than their generic Mordor counterparts these fearsome warriors of evil strike fear into the hearts of men when amassed in huge ranks, all scrabbling for their taste of man flesh!
Orcs create a really fun opportunity to create a lot of personalisation and uniqueness by experimenting with different orcish flesh tones which help create a nice sense of depth and character among an army which otherwise is very uniform....at least these guys are.
In this video we give you an easy to follow step by step guide to painting Morannon Orcs as well as a brief run down of other paints we've used to achieve other orc flesh tones over other warriors. Dont fret, we'll go into more detail in other videos to!

I was using predominantly GW Layer and Artificer Layer brushes for most of the work on these models

Thank you so much! Orcs are much more harder to paint than men have Gondor because they don’t have a uniform as such, every single one is individual which is a nuance when you’re trying to paint.
Yeah it's actually a lot harder to paint an army of unique looking orcs isn't it! I'm glad this video helped!

Haha oooh no, i've got a similar amount staring and judging me from my pile of shame awaiting the same! The Troll is currently in filming process and the nazgul/fell beast is deffo on the cards!

I use a combination of brokentoad, artis opus and citadel brushes, hope that helps!

TBH morannon orcs (IMO) are one of the worts miniatures on the lord of the rings franchise, they look so ugly always. Nice tutorial btw!
Theyre not the best admittedly but a good improvement over the standard Mordor Orcs IMO, glaf you likes the video :)
