Awesome video. I know indeed exactly where this is. First the ridgeline from "suicide pass" and panning over to the Stuart Fork Trail. Then Emerald and Sapphire Lakes, then up to the top of Thompson Peak, which is 9002' and the highest (I believe) of the TAs. Then down to Grizzly Lake. I must say you are a great climber, expert in fact to navigate up there. I thought an elk or mountain goat must have been filming these scenes, not a human. No offense. The terrain is that difficult. Oh, too bad you did not see any bears or Bigfoot!! It is sasquatch country. And one of the people I used to know (we think) accidentally filmed one near Emerald Lake in the early 90s.
Leor is way up on the High Route so know where you are going or you may end up a casualty. Some die in that area because they fool around. Leor wrote the route.
Oh I missed it. He came off the traverse at Kalmia Pass but I missed the lake. It's on my hit list for July 4. I'm going up through El Lake which I did see in his video.
Thank you! Just what I was looking for, great footage. No music or torpid narration. Brilliant.
You are quite an athlete. Great views from some of the high peaks. You lucked out on having clear sky in summer. Doesn't happen much anymore.
Great video and your panning technique is superb, best I've seen yet!.
I agree!!!
Love you're work man . You're journal is awesome as well Very helpful. Keep the adventures coming !

It must have been hard filming on the traverse. Most can't keep their eyes off their feet let alone film.
Is the waterfall at Diamond Lake?
Grizzly Lake I believe
What lakes are these?
Sapphire, Mirror, over Mirror Lake Traverse, then maybe Morris? Smith? Then definitely Grizzly.... Still watching.. 😂
Then El Lake below Sawtooth Peak.
He ends with Caribou Lake. The west shore and slope burned last year.
I’m pretty sure that’s smith and Morris
on top of sawtooth at smith lake no trail
@@keithbandy8959 trail? Leor never takes the trail. 😂
Yeah I think they came after he did the harrowing Mirror Lake Traverse while filming. Leave it to Leor. 😂

Did you see the Utube of those psychos who did Kalmia Pass in March? Those dudes are nuts.
Twin Lakes is in the Russians, one set of them anyway.
I guess that was Kalmia there sitting on the ledge. Looks awesome. I wonder why people complain. I'm going there for days.
