The deep is one of my favorite chracters, not because i think he is an awersome person or revolutionary, no he is just a dude who keeps failing again and again, which is unique in the series, well he packs a laugh if he didn t sexually assaulted starlight, i woudn t fell guilty bc i like him

War Criminal Gonzo The only reason Butcher kills Noir is cause Noir is completely fucked by the fight he had with Homelander. His intestines are hanging out and he has like half a head at the point he shows down with Billy. The only reason Billy hurts Noir is because he hits the open wounds instead of his skin, which is basically any supes weakness

@@iksskan9147 in the comics he and the other boys werent powerless they took compund v so they can take on supes without problem and were able to kill most of the strongest heroes.

@@drunkknight125original4 That isnt entirely true. While basically the entire boys team survived the seven , both teams never fought face to face each other . I mean, the boys didnt kill the top 3 most powerfull members of the seven: homelander (killed by black noir), black noir (he was killed by butcher after being seriously injured in his fight against homelander and shot by an USA army regiment) and queen maeve (she was murdered by homelander). Others like the deep and sunlight survided the conflict without fighting in the first place. The only members of the seven that they managed to kill were A train, Lamplighter and Jack from jupiter (who are basically the weakest of the group) and it wasnt in a fight against them.
@@MiguelLopez-yc2rh I meant heroes like Stormfront, his entire team of Payback and all the other superheroes they killed or brutally beat up. I know they didn't kill the Seven's main three they were mostly lucky on that I just wasn't being specific in detail.
I feel like it'd be really cool to see The Boys' Homelander face off against Invincible's Omni-Man. That would be such a sick battle

Black Noir is a homelander clone created by Vought to deal with Homelander if they lose control of him. Black Noir knows this and gets tired of waiting to fight Homelander so he sets him up and drives Homelander basically crazy. This leads to a fight between them and Black Noir kills him while Butcher is running away. This is the Canon comic book story but The Boys tv show will likely manipulate their own ending.

If you read the comics
Youd know that twist doesn't and wont exist in the show.
1:30 Fun fact the original plan Vought had in order to kill homelander (at least in the comics) was a hydrogen bomb, so it is unclear if he can actually survive one.
In the Series it means no harm to him, so…
Homelander surviving a nuke is a massive highball that is contradicted fairly often. In the comics high calibre bullets killed a clone of his. And in the show he was taken out of action by part of a bridge falling on him.
So I would assume that what the characters think of his strength is more hyperbolic than literal. Plus how exactly is Vought going to get its hands on a nuke and fire it at him without:
1. Killing him
Or B. Instantly getting him to murder everyone at Vought
And iii. Having a hydrogen bomb detonation be widely known to the public (as there is no way to do this quietly without Homelander agreeing which defeats the purpose)

@@palpatiner2546 A nuke is probably something far, and I mean FAR, too big for him to survive unless he can outrace the blast. And it wouldn't be profitable for Vought to use it, in any case, unless Homie goes way too far into tanking their profit.
In the comics a nuke was just ONE of the ways they had to keep him under their control, IIRC.

Out of the DBU, a sponsor deal for the Amazon Prime show, for an episode of DB outside of their normal season.
In the DBU, my guess is that Vought took the Godzilla approach to Superhero Civil War and said "Let them Fight" and so they kidnapped Billy Butcher and tossed him into an arena with 5 other superheroes and Homelander as Referee, so that Billy could quell the Civil War by killing off all the non-loyalists of the Seven so that Black Noir and Homelander could rebuild the Seven from Scratch, and whoever of the non-loyalists won would be killed by Mr. Referee to clean up the mess.
The idea of this being a simulation is a lie, this is a "The Boys AU"

I love how since this Death Battle is being directly sponsored by Vought, the company that owns The Seven, they are in the center of the show, being the main focus of the thumbnail, while all you see about The Boys is Billy Butcher being slightly visible in the background. Really makes you see the bias of this battle. 😂

I just want to see a Justice League vs. The Seven. I mean I know JL would win but just to see how they would fight against their lesser counterparts would be interesting.
I honestly feel like, despite their eventual loss, Homelander and Black Noir would be able to last a pretty long time. Queen Maeve might be able to last a bit too.

@@RainIncorporated That's why I said they'd SURVIVE, not win. I'd imagine Homelander and Superman fighting, while Black Noir Takes on Batman, Green Lantern, and Aquaman. Black Noir would then kill Aquaman, and then Superman and Wonder Woman would start getting serious, killing Homelander nearly instantly, and probably flinging Black Noir into space, since TV Black Noir is just Deadpool with Homelander's strength, which mean he can't fly.

After finish watching this DEATH BATTLE. I went to straight to watching The Boys. This has been overdue and I need to know the excitement of this show.
Currently, this show was all the hype that everyone was talking I swear its mixed of Kickass and Injustice malted together so dayum smoothlx.

Black Noir is a clone of the Homelander designed to take him down if they ever needed to, so he made sure they needed to and kinda precipitated the events in the story, after which he killed the Homelander.

@@luisumana1238 i prefer the boys *as a story* to most marvel and dc plotlines, but in terms of the death battle, there is no logical way billy butcher should have won. Take the pokemon gen 1 starter battle royale for example. Battle royales have %chance outcomes. Blastoise won cause he won the most % of those outcomes, wheras this is an incredibly specific scenario that allowed butcher to come out on top, just to introduce us to the character to make people more interested in amazon's series.
To be fair, as a knockoff superman, if homelander was actually competing, most if not all of the 7 would have stood no chance.

I think the idea was that Starlight was putting so much effort into the blast that she wasn't able to fine tune her aim when the resistance suddenly stopped. Butcher, on the other hand, was putting no effort into firing at her and knew exactly when he was planning to redirect the baby's vision so he was free to sidestep Starlight if necessary. I think the better question is whether Starlight's energy and the baby's eyebeams would actually repulse each other or if they would actually just move right through each other and kill whoever was on the other side.
Ngl, those sprites were really good, especially Starlight's.

@@joshwright8255 Homelander might be like superman but he's not as powerful as those heavy hitters. Vought has said that Homelander can wipe off any human weapon which puts him at Nuclear Bomb durability (but this might he an overly exaggerated). Homelander isn't that powerful.
