A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. SuperShah201 The best thing that ever happened in comic-book movie history, and it does feel it is done in good faith, with Marvel helping out with the creative control production along with its producers, while Sony still gets the money fot the distribution, is a sweet 50/50 agreement ;), now we just need Fox to either give out the rights of the Fantastic Four, or perform that similar deal with Marvel and get a perfect FF movie, even with the rumored X-Men reboot it could be a good opportunity to include them in the MCU, though honestly, I think they should better give FF, the X-Men franchise doesn't need the MCU, and the MCU doesn't need the X-Men

Sincere thanks to Sony for letting this happen. Your first two Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films will always be remembered by all the fans.
The last shot of Iron-man and Spider-Man together symbolizes the new blockbuster partnership of Marvel and Sony where iron-Man is the biggest draw for Marvel while Spider-Man films have been exclusively Sony's till now. While Marvel deserves serious credit for all the awesome creative work, Sony deserves the heartfelt gratitude from all comic book fans for their humility, intelligence and the grace they have shown in collaborating with Marvel.
Probably the executives of Sony realized how much they screwed TASM 2 and realized the only way to save the franchise was doing a deal with Marvel and let them to do the next reboot with the existing Marvel film universe.
I agree. If this film was the only Spider-Man film after the original Tobey Maguire trilogy, people wouldn't be sighing in fatigue. TASM 2 messed things up bad. TASM wasn't that bad but there was no need for that film series in the first place.

Fortunately, the movie is still primarily being made by Columbia pictures (which is Sony), so it'll still have the Sony influence people loved in The Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Spiderman really came far didn't he? From a friendly neighborhood spiderman to a superhero who went to space, fought Thanos and now he's going to fight from parallel universe. Marvel did a really good job to give us something new with spiderman that feels fresh

This should be the best Spider-Man movie yet as It seems to focus on what makes Spider-Man Spider-Man. The balance between Spider-Man and Peter Parker. It's a high school movie but with superheroes taking part of like... 50 to 60 percent of the movie. And also the actor looks believably in high school and nerdy. Okay maybe not super nerdy but it's in there.

This is it. This is Spider-Man. It's such a perfect platform on which to build the core tenants of Peter Parker's character and welcome him back into the fold. Conceptually perfect - I hope the film lives up.
