But still the side by side comparison reveals a lot. I can't see any reason based on the data in this video that indicates it would be bad in rough sea.
Good day! As the foil lifts the boat, it reduces the friction force, increases engine efficiency and reduces fuel consumption. Thank you for your time. Warm Regards, Tamara Sağlam
Love the design, Bering makes an awesome boat. Should take a big part of the smaller catamaran business. 24 yrs ago I was called crazy for owning a 22’ glacier bay that I would take to Eleuthera for Lauderdale many times. Nothing rides like a fast cat. Good luck
If you were to add SHARROW PROPELLORS to your cats the eficiency would be magnified several times over, and give you a massive edge over your competition. Have a look at Sharrow props, I'm sure you will not be disapointed. congratulations on an incredible product, from Australia.
Dear Tim and Perina! Thank you for your valuable advice and your time. I will share this information with our Marine Engineers. Warm Regards, Tamara Sağlam
Interesting tech. 1) I am kinda thinking, if the foils can get dammaged or snapped off, when the sea condition is harsh with high waves and the boat practicaly falls on the foils, when falling from the peak wave to the bottom. 2) And how big ships can be, to apply this design? 3) Just figured - how about barnacles and the "growth" on the keel ... - Is there some difference between affect on regular boat and your design? Thanks for answers and good luck in your bussiness.
Hulls are quite conventional and relatively high drag. Good to see use of the hydrofoil, but this is really a fairly bulky heavy boat that still burns a lot of fuel.
Beautiful work. Use the Sharrow Propellers and get an even better economy! Imagine with your company’s foil and hull design coupled with the invention of the Sharrow Propeller your efficiency could reach 50% ! Go ahead and make it happen. It’s only two bolts and then you’re off to races I’d say. Cheers J.
Explain perhaps. Have you tested them ? Probably a cost for two around $11k usd on a boat that costs how much more. Surprised you wouldn’t want to test. Cheers

Nothing new there. My Cairns Customcraft had this same set-up...twenty-odd years ago. See HYSUCAT... That said I'll say that this add is accurate as per handling and fuel burn.
Amazing technology! Just stay away from Malan Conradie. He claims to be the director of Hysucat but I learned the hard way that he is a scam artist. I had a 42ft Hysucat built by him in 2017 and long story short, it was never finished and turned into a financial disaster. I at least have the boat now here in Ft Lauderdale. Now 7 years later, trying to finish it but not getting much support from anybody. When it is done, it will be pretty amazing as I'm running the OXE 300s and Sharrow Props.
Dear Eric, good day! Thank you for your comment. The Sharrow props were tested on one of our 28 RHIB models. Sharrow's testing team found that our boat was already running at 94% efficiency and their props did not improve our boat. The props were tested against a standard set of Suzuki props and recorded the same speeds at the same RPMS. We hope you have many unforgettable adventures once your boat is ready. Warm Regards, Tamara Sağlam
Old idea, been used by Hysucat for decades. To be really effective, flight control surfaces - flaps should be used. Using a hydrofoil does not improve stability.

Nice video, but would be good to see it performing in rough conditions. Any boat can look good on a mill pond.
Dear David. We would be happy to see you at Seattle Boat Show in few days!

But still the side by side comparison reveals a lot. I can't see any reason based on the data in this video that indicates it would be bad in rough sea.
I helmed a 7m Hysucat in choppy seas and ran between 50 and 60 knots.
Sounds perfect, and what was the fuel consumption? If you do remember, dear Paul.
Warm Regards,
Tamara Sağlam
The size of the wake is tiny. The wake is the best indicator of wasted energy, this is a revolutionary design.

On an another channel Mr. A sort of promised a 80 footer.....? Any chance we will see that? Waiting waiting...
This must be the ideal live aboard. Minimised rockin' and rollin' 😀

30% is a great step in the right direction! But it would be 75% instead of 30% savings with a full foiling boat like Candela C-8 or Tyde THE ICON.

Isn`t this very dangerous for the aquatic life like fish , stingray or sharks swimming near the surface, they will get cut in a half 🤨
