Native Instruments Kontrol S61 Mk 3 MIDI Controller Keyboard

We picked up the ​⁠‪@NativeInstruments‬ #kompletekontrol #S61 mk3 - This video is quick review, but the key takeaway is that when i installed the driver it corrupted the audio midi set up preferences on my mac (Mac Studio M1 Max Running Ventura OS with 64g RAM).
I could not find any documentation on this particular problem much less any solutions. eventually just trashing the audio midi set up pref file did fix it.
at the end of the video i play a sample of a recording for a client where i added a single cello and single violin. both were from the NI Stradivari series.
