Lucy has come a long way. I still remember the first couple of times James May "dragged" her in front of the camera. It's like night and day compared to back then. Good Job.
Loved the walking tour that Lucy provided. It is refreshing to hear the points that Lucy likes rather than just "tech spec". Most of us buy a car at a practical level needs and a emotional response from how it makes us feel. Lucy did great considering the lack of manners from many of the attendees. I have been to several car shows and simple politeness tends to disappear as the masses arrive. Well done Lucy-- and I hope this is just the first of many assignments abroad. This type of video is a wonderful addition to the channel and fills a spot greatly needed. As a final note--I have never seen a "kids car" or those designed for those without a license before. We might need to video on how that works! Lucy--bon travail!!!
Well done, Lucy Brown! Love seeing all the stuff us Americans will never see on the roads here. Is it just me or is the captain's chair in that BYD massive? 😂
Was shouting at the screen oh no she has walked past the Renault Espace F1! Soooo glad Lucy went back and had a look. It is one of my all time favorite cars. Great walk around the show, need to get the elbows out a bit more though :D Cheers.
I really enjoy Lucy’s video. She’s fun to watch and has such a sweet manner to her. Fun to see cars that we don’t have here in the States. Keep up the great work, Lucy!
I call it "The Museum Effect": as soon as you show interest in a displayed object, or take out a camera, suddenly there is someone (not always a child) RIGHT THERE to jam their head/body/arm/stroller in the way. So I usually fake them out by paying attention to something entirely different nearby at first, let their gaze following instinct kick in, and then spin around , get my shot, and amble away before they can shift their gaze or get themselves in the way.
I’m a BIG fan of everything Lucy does and you definitely did a fantastic job of this video brilliant. What a place to be if your into cars 👍 a great great great episode 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love cars but I hate car shows, especially since you have to pay to go look at something you can just go to a dealership to look at for free. Nonetheless, another spot on video from Lucy.
Good News! Lucy reviews a car show. And with a Dacia to boot! Good video. As for the crowds, try acting like Clarkson. He wouldn’t stand for a bunch of Pushy Parisians. He’d tell them exactly where to get off the Autoroute.
Next show you’ll have to try well in advance to get press passes for the press day before the show opens to the public. That might make it easier to film
I know it wouldn't be socially acceptable, but it would be hilarious to write a sketch where Lucy is at an "Auto Show" a series of idiots walk in front of her, ruin her shots, etc, as they walk by she takes them, no reaction by her, they fall to the ground twitching, she tazes, continues speaking, by the end she's surrounded by unconscious morons lying prone, and she has a fire in her eyes, "finally!

Lucy Brown need her own cooking show. Those are my favorite.
I agree. She has grown and is way more comfortable in front of the camera.
Lucy has that rare combination of honesty, humility, and a bit of cheek. Please keep her busy making these videos for us!
It is a great combination. And that is very much the plan, as long as she wants to come and play, we're happy to have her on the channel.
She is the child James may never had.
Who doesn't enjoy Lucy Brown? She's fantastic.
that actually sounds very wrong....LOL
@@edwinc9948 hehe didn't mean to sound like a perv. I see your point

More Lucy !!!!! More Lucy!!!! A splendid presentation..
Well done, Lucy Brown! Love seeing all the stuff us Americans will never see on the roads here. Is it just me or is the captain's chair in that BYD massive? 😂
It’s very refreshing to have a presenter who is credible. No preset agenda, Lucy is a rare commodity she is a very adept good communicator and honest.
Enjoyed Lucy's presentation 😊
Delighted you enjoyed it!

Nice work hiring Lucy, Arnold Clark, since before you did the rest of us had no idea who you were. Still don't actually, but subbing for more.
We hope you'll join us on this journey and we'll all learn about each other along the way.
Great job lucy 🎉 👏
This is a car video I can actually appreciate. Nice one Lucy.
Excellent job Lucy! You can film, edit and now you can present like a natural - so the all round package 👏 SO Cool 😁
Such a great job. Its refreshing to hear how much someone likes something, not criticizing.
Yay Lucy, thx for showing us around
Thank you, Lucy. I'm in faraway Seattle. We don't get many cars from Europe and none from China. I enjoy your fresh and honest style
I'm with Lucy on the Espace and Twingo front - was half hoping she'd encounter the Renault 17 concept as I have one of the originals. Good job Lucy 🙂
Now I can't unsee Spider-Man... thanks for that
It's almost like you have a sense, and it's tingling.
Lucy fitting in well brilliant to have her on your channel
I really enjoy Lucy’s video. She’s fun to watch and has such a sweet manner to her. Fun to see cars that we don’t have here in the States. Keep up the great work, Lucy!
Here because of Lucy! Great vid, thanks!
Awesome job Lucy Brown !!!
Awesome tour. Renault's 'bumpers' to protect the bumpers ☺️
Well, bumpers aren’t really bumpers anymore, so every little bit helps I guess.
Great job Lucy! Great video.
I love Lucy.
Lucy is fantastic, love her videos, thank you
Brilliant for your first or 20th show you'd have never know.

Thank you Lucy. :-)
being highly technical it is both refreshing and valuable for your style of evaluation
Great video Lucy. Next time get them to send you on Press Day 😂
Believe us when we say that we tried. Turns out we're not press.
Love Lucy.
Great Job Lucy Brown!! lOVED THAT VW GTI!!
Great vid!
Great job, Lucy! I’ll be interested to see the electric Alfa when it arrives in the US.
Well done.
Great video
Go Lucy 😂❤
I’m a BIG fan of everything Lucy does and you definitely did a fantastic job of this video brilliant. What a place to be if your into cars 👍 a great great great episode 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Really glad you enjoyed the video! Lucy will return. We might even send her to another car show.
Yay Lucy!! 👏🏻
That show is crazy packed! I thought autoshows were going the way of the doe-doe? 🤷🏻♂️
Good job. 🎉
🔥🔥🔥Lucy Brown
Lucy deserves a raise. 😀
love lucy
great video
Lucy you are not an imposter
I'm reading the comments below - and I think Duncan needs a shout as 'good delegator'. ;-)
Well done.. Hi from Norway.👍
Hello there!
Lucy!!
Yay!
I love cars but I hate car shows, especially since you have to pay to go look at something you can just go to a dealership to look at for free. Nonetheless, another spot on video from Lucy.
How could you look the concept cars for free at dealers??😂
It's great to get an overview of lots of brands at a show then go to one or two dealers later when you've narrowed down your options 😊
You'll never see concept cars except at an auto show.
I think you did a great job
Good News! Lucy reviews a car show. And with a Dacia to boot! Good video.

Drivetribe recently did a video on the F1 Espace
Yeah but a LOT of people don't watch that channel. Personally, it's because I can't stand Fernie.
Thanks, Lucy. Looking forward to hearing you speak French soon...
👍👍👍
All we need now is Izzy Hammond to join Lucy and one more person???? and we have Grand Tour/ Top Gear next gen👌
Think she might be quite busy on another channel...
Must miss tv!
Next show you’ll have to try well in advance to get press passes for the press day before the show opens to the public. That might make it easier to film
We don't like to make it too easy for Lucy. What is a hero's journey without obstacles?
5:03 The French Ladys & Gentlemen
Don’t they do press days any more? It looked like there were a lot of non-professional people attending.
There was a press day, but we were not press. Next time!

Hehe
Lucy is a natural OR she’s learned/gleaned from the best in the business…Jeremy Clarkson…😉 j/k James May. 😆
