its very intruiging indeed. they took a huge risk in the shape, something we know zy usually condemns. i wanna know if it worked out for them, even if im not planning on getting it myself.
He doesn’t like clones and the shape is a zowie ec-1/2b, means right in between size wise. That said, I ordered the mouse a while ago since I ran into some problems with the model O. Just personal things and I found the skoll is way better for me shape wise. If you have any more questions you can ask me any time.
Hey RJN, im pretty new to your channel but I'd like to thank you so much for making videos. I was linked your channel on r/mousereview after asking for help finding a good ambi mouse that doesn't have Logi's double clicking issues. Between your channel and your website I ended up picking the Lancehead TE, which even though you grilled its shape in your review, is fantastic for my large hands and my precision with the mouse has gone up by quite a bit from my G903. Thank you for doing what you do, you've earned a loyal fan
My copy is arriving tonight! I grabbed it for 39.99 this past weekend. I personally love lower and more level thumb buttons since I don't actually lift up to hit the thumb buttons, I just rock my thumb joint and tip upwards to click the buttons. Thanks for sharing your constructive thoughts on it!
I got this mouse a few days ago and I can say with 100% confidence, this mouse fits the best in MY hand (preference) after trying almost 10 top of the line gaming mice trying to find the one that lets me be as accurate and consistent as possible. I love how low the buttons are it makes my grip feel so natural and the sides are perfect for how I rest my fingers, it literally fits like a glove IT FEELS SO GOOD (I do fingertip/claw grip). Scroll wheel and mouse buttons feel good enough where they don't bug me, I was hesitant because I use my side mouse buttons and scroll wheel down as main keybinds in the game I play. Even though RJN isn't fond of them, they are comfortable enough for me where I like them, they feel good to press. Thank you RJN for putting this mouse out there for me to find, can't wait to see how good I get in the coming months!

The 1000Hz Polling Rate is the rate at which the mouse updates it's position on your screen. Basically, 1000Hz means it's update it's position 1000 times per second, 500Hz=500 updates per second, etc. This is completely independent of click latency.
I love this mouse, it's a very good shape for my wide hands. I actually find it more comfortable than my g603, the light weight is super nice too. Been playing more FPS and enjoying em more since I got this mouse, especially Quake and Warfork.
Hey, I bought the xm1 3 weeks ago and it's a fantastic mouse but I have a problem with ghosting with the mouse buttons, If you bind mouse button 4-5 with something and then shoots with mouse 1 then the buttons stop with working I don't know if it is the case with all copies.
@@JoshWilkens been through many mice after my g303 addiction. G203/G305 has been the best I could find this far. Mice that I haven't tried that I believe could be good would be the XM1 and the MM710. As for mice I've tried, S2, EC2-B, G403, GPW, Steel Series Sensei, Model O. Nothing compares to the feel of the 203 and 303. If I had to put money on what mouse could be best, I'd guess the MM710 has the most potential.
Nirvz HD I have tried many mice aswell & the closest was the Roccat owl eye kone pure. Its one of the comfortable mouse i've laid my hands on & high end sensor aswel BUT its still heavy... G303 is on its own league.. there will be no mouse like it. Give the XM1 a shot..
i don't think the buttons being lower is helping your aim all that much. it's sensor placement and if you look carefully, it's just a little above the middle. this helps greatly when you are pivoting the mouse with your wrist planted. you get more movement this way compared with the same force as mice with the sensor exactly in the middle or lower. the high sensor on the XM1 is closer to where your fingertips rest. personally i find my aim worsens with narrow grip width but i'm guessing that's because i use 1-3-1 fingertip grip, so wider is better as long as i can still lift the mouse. 60mm is the sweet spot.
I think a good metric system to use for future mice isnt which one has the shortest button heights, mouse width, and back heights, but rather which one has the best RATIO b/w these measurements
my handsize lenghs is 17cm. shape is great, also the wight. the mouse feels a bit to smooth and to big for me, so that flickshots dont work that well. i play shooters i have to ads. so like rainbow and hunt showdown, and in both games i have the problem, that mousemovement feels to smooth. but i am sure the mouse is to big for my hand. but in certain ways it feels better then the logitech g303 and pro to me even throgh they are smaller. thats because the weight and materials. i need ruff shapes. i swet while playing stressfull games. i buy about 30 mouses since 2012. iam left handed... next mouse i try is the mm170. i feel like cinderella
My new fave after a few days use - have also enjoyed zowie ec series, ultralight phantom, and most recently ultralight 2. Super comfortable and scroll wheel + main clicks feel great - side buttons are probably weakest point for me as travel is on the long side. Polling and DPI are easy to change but settled on same settings i've used on most mice - 400 dpi, 500 hz. Great mouse and highly recommended, hope they make a fancy lightweight cable for it at some point. Aim was better out of the box with this compared to ultralight 2 but obviously your mileage may vary
This mouse is amazing! i just wish EndgameGear will make a lightweight ergo mouse in the future. I can recommend this mouse even though it's not the best shape and size for me just because of it's highquality parts and shell, it will take quite some time to get used to if you're like me and used to DA and EC2A but after using it for a month it started to feel sooo good! i think this mouse proves that size and shape is just something you can get used to most of the time you'll just need patience. I got really frustrated and wanted to go back to my ec2 at one point but i didn't and now i don't ever wanna go back to it. But if the shape isn't right for you at all i can see why you wouldn't like this mouse and the stock mouse feet are really bad either put on some ZowieFK mousefeet (they actually fit perfectly) or order the XM1 mousefeet from corepad.
Its fine, mouse bungees arent really that special. The issue ive had is thats its quite the hassle to get the cable in there with my Model-O and you can pull the rubber top off by accident if you try and adjust the height. Fairly minor complaints though, it works perfectly fine once setup correctly
I asked the very same. Apparently it's the same as debounce time for the infamous double click problem. The registration of the clivk itself has to be processed which is done 3ms faster on this mouse(4ms default on mice). I'd rather have a good shape over these claimed 3ms but we'll see.
Hi! Thanks for helping me. So I’m going to buy a new mouse cause it has been 3 months that i use a cheap CM and i need a Upgrade ASAP. I’m more likely onto lightweight mouse but with a good quality and i’d say the shape is more important than the weight for me like if a mouse is 70g but with a shape that really suits me i’ll go with it and not with like a 50g mouse that doesn’t suits me as well as the 70g one. And that’s it i think. * **Games:** Fortnite and others FPS primary * **Hand Preference:** Right Handed (ambidextrous right handed shapes primary) 2 sides buttons on the right obligatory * **Budget:** 110$ max for like a GPW (amazon if it is really worth it) * **Hand Size:** ~19,2cm x ~10cm * **Grip:** fingertip/relaxed claw * **Weight:** I’d like to try a lightweight mouse. (Exception for the GPW cause i heard it was really balanced and it’s WL) * **Sensitivity:** Low/Medium - 800 DPI, 0,058/0,065 in fortnite. * **Connectivity:** Good stock cable like the MM710 or Hati and of course Wireless could be an option (never tried both wireless and paracord).
i have 2 niggles with this mouse: 1. its got a backsided hump, and i myself am a definite palmer. 2. the model o/o- (this is what happens when you ask your folks to order your mouse) is on its way. cool stuff. not for me but im sure theres a clawer/fingertipper that was look for a reasonably priced high end light mid-large mouse with a backsided hump.
Considering buying this mouse. Since they are releasing an updated version of it, better cable, skates etc, some stores are lowing the price on the old version at the moment by a lot. For example here in Sweden I can buy this mouse online now for 380 kr which is equal to about 40 US dollars. It's just the shape which is making me hesitate. I have 20x11 cm hands and hold fingertip/claw hybrid( just rest back of mouse on the palm area under pinky and ring finger). I assume it will work but hard to tell. Also not being able to custom keybind in the software is a bit annoying since I play old games that doesn't always recognize mouse side-buttons unless you make them into keybinds.
Been using the newest version, XM1r, for a week now and I am blown away. I've never played so good. I wish the hump was a bit taller and the right side flared a little more, but I can't complain too much. Adjusting my grip helped. So I'll just design my own ;) RJN plz read and hit me up to test the shape :D
Hey man I’m in the USA and want to order an XM1r..Cannot seem to find them anywhere? Is it just me or are they sold out? Also why is the XM1 RGB more expensive than the new XM1r..Let me know! thanks!
@@Tarky2 super sold out. Bought two because I knew they would. RGB probably cost more because it's RGB. I hope the R comes out with a wireless RGB version.
The Lost Muchacho damn any idea how often places restock? Not too familiar with how new mice releases work...Tried ordering from canada and they aren’t allowed to ship across border..Is old XM1 that different? I’m about to cave in and just buy the old variant.
It was designed by "Johnny R" the person who made the kinzu, kana, senseis shapes. In hand it feels a lot smaller than the sensei because of the height, id say a Kana 2.0 not a sensei. also it curves inwards ) ( like a g303. The material is quite matte similar to zowie's material, not my cup of tea, I prefer all my mice glossy and not slimy after 5 minutes. I just seem to aim best with glossy mouse because i have the most relaxed grip with it, and the clicks are enhanced. The shell absorbs sweat and finger prints, so if you like your mouse aesthicly looking good, i'd wouldnt recommend it. I think mouse manufactors should start making glossy version of mice, just like glorious, coolermaster, and zowie. I myself tried both and even though I have sweaty hands, the clicks feel so much better when the shell is glossy. I'd recommend this mouse if your a fan of the kana/g303, the shape is as if they had a baby together.
That 2HP vs 4 was on so high tension.. we could see the rail shakyness induced by it. 70g for such a large looking mouse is remarkable but now they would need to catch up at least on the cable level. (seeing paracord shipped in the box is a major industry upgrade) Also if I had to choose between a coating change Or comfort grooves in the buttons I would choose "buttons change". Their next project will be very interesting to see, for me specially if they decide to go shorter. Did the shape forced you into palm grip? edit: It's £73.90 ough..
I honestly don't think it has to do with how close your hands are to the pad, but rather the degree of the angle from the button height, to the height of the hump. If you have a high hump, and low button click height, it honestly might feel a bit too uncomfortable. Because of sharp of an incline there would be
OMG... I think I have finally found a replacement for my Zowie AM. I never switched to the FK/ZA series because the shells differ too much from the AM and the "comfort" grooves: I find them anything but.
kinda regretted i return this mouse after getting my UL2 since Im claw gripper. I have 17.5'' hand, yes smol asian hand and still i cant claw grip UL2. Basically i add the skin to make the hump, leave the sides empty. It's not bad now. But kinda silly because it doesnt have smooth curve anymore due to the skin. edit: im planning getting a mm710 instead to replace my XM1 for my hybrid claw grip type. XM1 is just a tiny bit big for me to keep it, hope mm710 would be perfect on my hand without tapes lol
i didn't know it was so narrow at the bottom. i use 1-3-1 grip and notice wider mice give me better aim. my main is the sensei 310. i can barely reach the scroll wheel comfortably but the shape overall works better for me even though it is too large for my hand. still looking for a good replacement mouse.
Hi, it means that you prefer the sensei shape wise overall? I'M using a dm1 (which is basically the sensei) and considering this mouse.. I also prefer wider mice. Thanks in advance!
The front end being too high is a big problem for me as I search for bigger mice. For example, the steelseries rival 600 was a near perfect fit, but would cramp my middle finger knuckle after an hour. After comparing with several other mice the only conclusion I could come to was that my finger were being held just a little to high from the front edge of the mouse.
18 and 9cm are also my hand sizes, anyone know if the firmware has ironed out the problems? I hope they release a mouse with a tiny bit shorter length for small hand users and if they fixed the buttons i'd be sold
Any chance at a recap covering the changes alongside the new white copy and the updated black? Looks like they put a better cable on at least stock now; still $59.99.
I've been using it for just over a month... I've played well with it (I use claw grip) and the buttons definitely feel faster than my zowie za13 I was using before. Have had no issues with double clicking etc - it would be perfect for me if it was just a little smaller overall. Waiting for the model o- to arrive now..
Very likely it's faster than the ZA13. But the claim makes it seem it's faster than the fastest (1ms), which I can't verify. It's still up with the fastest though so it'll be faster than most, Model O and MM710 included.

@@Dom95g Bought a Corsair mouse pad as well. Forgot to mention that. Goes really well with it .
@@NJJ96 happy to hear that my friend, tell me, do u have firmware issues ?
@@Dom95g Nope not so far..everythings smooth sailing
This mouse feels amazing in the hand. They did a really fantastic job. I did eventually find the mm710 was a better performer for me, but if Endgame came out with a lighter mini version of the XM1 I'd be very excited to check it out
They are :D should be available at the end of 2021
Hi, are you going to review g wolves skoll?
its very intruiging indeed. they took a huge risk in the shape, something we know zy usually condemns. i wanna know if it worked out for them, even if im not planning on getting it myself.
Would be interested to hear what he says about the Skoll.
He doesn’t like clones and the shape is a zowie ec-1/2b, means right in between size wise. That said, I ordered the mouse a while ago since I ran into some problems with the model O. Just personal things and I found the skoll is way better for me shape wise. If you have any more questions you can ask me any time.
@@NoBody-bm9if did click latency issue had been fixed with software update?
Tigorski there was a Firmware Update and I believe i read something about latency in the patch log. I’ll check tomorrow and let you know.
Even if it has problems an update or newer version will help this a lot and other companies might see this review and look into their button heights.
Loving the bonus highlights!!!
Hi what is your hand size? I'm getting one and my hand size is 18 - 9
i was bout to get this mouse but Zy gave me no info on it. I ended up getting the roccat kone pure but after watching this i'm glad i got it. Thanks Zy
s1mple used this mouse at the CS GO major. but yup absolutely loving mine. i actually bought a second one so i can try out different mouse switches and feet with it cause my first one is absolutely perfect. didn't wanna mess with it
That frag movie at the end HOLY SHIT
I really hope EndGame gear will polish this mouse, as they are going in a good direction in a lot of ways

That point about button height is proof how seriously you take mice and aiming ❤️
This is what i love about g303 the height of the buttons. Now it makes sense.
connostyper Yo, for real. Just ordered me some Khail red switches, tiger arc mouse feet and a braided cable to extent the life of G303.
@@Saphir__ love that mouse. i change the cable also, to a paracord. where did you find the switches?
Waiting on a xm1r review
that 2hp clutch was nuts
The 1000Hz Polling Rate is the rate at which the mouse updates it's position on your screen. Basically, 1000Hz means it's update it's position 1000 times per second, 500Hz=500 updates per second, etc. This is completely independent of click latency.
I love this mouse, it's a very good shape for my wide hands. I actually find it more comfortable than my g603, the light weight is super nice too. Been playing more FPS and enjoying em more since I got this mouse, especially Quake and Warfork.
Nice Review I like ur voice very calm and clear
Once again, amazing highlights, keep going ❤. I think I might buy this Incase my main breaks
FUCKING FINALLY!
My place doesn't sell this mouse but I can't wait to see your review on it!
I just bought s1 zowie, and it feels quiet heavy, should i go trade for xm1 ?
Toto Foto yeah
definitely, duhhh
Writing with the ultralight 2 has to become a meme!
lol
Hey, I bought the xm1 3 weeks ago and it's a fantastic mouse but I have a problem with ghosting with the mouse buttons, If you bind mouse button 4-5 with something and then shoots with mouse 1 then the buttons stop with working I don't know if it is the case with all copies.
I had a g303 for 4 years, i finally found my replacement. Wish it was wireless🙂
I think we can ALL agree that we are anxiously waiting for the cucumber review!
I love this mouse, so underrated.
Been waiting for this nice
I spat my food out when I saw the cucumber
Well played Zy 😂
i don't think the buttons being lower is helping your aim all that much. it's sensor placement and if you look carefully, it's just a little above the middle. this helps greatly when you are pivoting the mouse with your wrist planted. you get more movement this way compared with the same force as mice with the sensor exactly in the middle or lower. the high sensor on the XM1 is closer to where your fingertips rest.
personally i find my aim worsens with narrow grip width but i'm guessing that's because i use 1-3-1 fingertip grip, so wider is better as long as i can still lift the mouse. 60mm is the sweet spot.
That cucumber cought me off guard.. i literally had to laugh out loud for a bit and then rewind.
Aim was better out of the box with this compared to ultralight 2 but obviously your mileage may vary
the more I watch your videos the more I have to buy other mouses that I don’t need :/
it's nice to watch a mouse review from someone who can actually play.
I immediately subscribed to channel when i saw the cucumber. What a legend.
But if the shape isn't right for you at all i can see why you wouldn't like this mouse and the stock mouse feet are really bad either put on some ZowieFK mousefeet (they actually fit perfectly) or order the XM1 mousefeet from corepad.
i dont need a mouse but your vids are still great
Speaking of mouse bungees, what do you think about the Glorious PC Gaming Race mouse bungee?
i like it more than the zowie camade
Its fine, mouse bungees arent really that special. The issue ive had is thats its quite the hassle to get the cable in there with my Model-O and you can pull the rubber top off by accident if you try and adjust the height. Fairly minor complaints though, it works perfectly fine once setup correctly
I don’t even use a bungee
Just tape the wire
I asked the very same. Apparently it's the same as debounce time for the infamous double click problem.
The registration of the clivk itself has to be processed which is done 3ms faster on this mouse(4ms default on mice). I'd rather have a good shape over these claimed 3ms but we'll see.
Love the shape of this, even better than Revel.
This is the best mouse ever made. No cap.
I loved the writing analogy
* **Games:** Fortnite and others FPS primary
* **Hand Preference:** Right Handed (ambidextrous right handed shapes primary)
2 sides buttons on the right obligatory
* **Budget:** 110$ max for like a GPW (amazon if it is really worth it)
* **Hand Size:** ~19,2cm x ~10cm
* **Grip:** fingertip/relaxed claw
* **Weight:** I’d like to try a lightweight mouse. (Exception for the GPW cause i heard it was really balanced and it’s WL)
* **Sensitivity:** Low/Medium - 800 DPI, 0,058/0,065 in fortnite.
* **Connectivity:** Good stock cable like the MM710 or Hati and of course Wireless could be an option (never tried both wireless and paracord).
Veloce_Foals get a mm710 or mm711
Bought two days ago razer mamba elite :) Love your videos
i have 2 niggles with this mouse:
1. its got a backsided hump, and i myself am a definite palmer.
2. the model o/o- (this is what happens when you ask your folks to order your mouse) is on its way.
cool stuff. not for me but im sure theres a clawer/fingertipper that was look for a reasonably priced high end light mid-large mouse with a backsided hump.
when will the website with the feature find a mouse be back? just looking for another mouse
I have to give you a lot of credit for that intro.
And it's nice that you gave it 1ms before you even thought about it, too.
That mouse shape looks really comfortable.
Did u try this mouse how was it?
The Lost Muchacho i’m between the XM1r and the Xtrfy m42
(seeing paracord shipped in the box is a major industry upgrade)
Also if I had to choose between a coating change Or comfort grooves in the buttons I would choose "buttons change".
Their next project will be very interesting to see, for me specially if they decide to go shorter.
Did the shape forced you into palm grip?
edit: It's £73.90 ough..
Interesting take. Beyond the side mouse buttons I've had no issues. I much prefer it to the Zowie S2.
There seems to be some significant QC control issue on the Xm1's regarding the hollow sound. Like the Screws are too tight or something. Would avoid
Legendary mouse is back steelseries Sensei 10
I honestly don't think it has to do with how close your hands are to the pad, but rather the degree of the angle from the button height, to the height of the hump.
If you have a high hump, and low button click height, it honestly might feel a bit too uncomfortable. Because of sharp of an incline there would be
Will get this mouse on my birthday
OMG... I think I have finally found a replacement for my Zowie AM. I never switched to the FK/ZA series because the shells differ too much from the AM and the "comfort" grooves: I find them anything but.
The cucumber part set me off... continues with serious voice🤣
Would you recommend this mouse to someone that a 19x10cm hand with a relaxed claw grip?
Depends if you like the weight, other than that, its good for you(maybe a bit thin)
Can you review the G Wolves Skoll/haiti?
kinda regretted i return this mouse after getting my UL2 since Im claw gripper.
Salam Aleikum, can u give an answer about mm710 and make a compare between UL2, XM1 and m710 ? What do u like more?
@@magatheslayer8516 im used to UL2. fully with UL2 for now.
i didn't know it was so narrow at the bottom. i use 1-3-1 grip and notice wider mice give me better aim. my main is the sensei 310. i can barely reach the scroll wheel comfortably but the shape overall works better for me even though it is too large for my hand. still looking for a good replacement mouse.
Hi, it means that you prefer the sensei shape wise overall? I'M using a dm1 (which is basically the sensei) and considering this mouse.. I also prefer wider mice. Thanks in advance!
I think I'll wait for their next mice once they're a bit more experienced, but this sounds quite great to replace my nixeus revel
Can you give us an update on the site? You said 2 weeks maybe but its been 3 and still no word. Love Dan :)
Will you do G-Wolves SK-L3360 Skoll?
