Haha, I have somehow come across your video from spending too much time on booktube. I really liked the mindf*ck series from the very first book. The first book is a lot more tame than the rest so you definitely need to be fully aware of content warnings. In terms of it being a dark romance, it isn't really in relation to the main couple though there is one scene in the last book. I also felt kind of iffy about how the book ended but I overall really enjoyed it. I think it's definitely one of those books that is not for everyone, but I recommend it if people are aware of content and aren't completely against the idea of the book.
