Raye is usually barefoot onstage. I beleive she's said it makes her feel more grounded when she does so. I think the same might apply to why she's sitting during the performance!! Her live performances of every song are always different from each other, there's always something to look forward to with her live music.
Lots to see and. hear but agree with some below that Oscar winning tears live at Albert Hall. And also her live performance at the Brit Awards (where she won a record number 6 awards).
I may be wrong but In kneeling down i think Raye is paying homage to James Brown who would often go down on his knees whilst singing live. She playing along with the style as well as the music. personally i think she wasnt happy when she belted out her big note so she went to do it again but laughed when the bubble flew in front of her face. True professionalism on how she reentered the song without a thought then belted out the finish. Raye is the best ive heard in a very very long time, such an exciting artist.
