I used to watch Davie back in 2012, I always thought of him as a incredible bass player, it was surreal to me to see him start growing the way he did over the years, now he has 12.7 million suscribers playing what most consider the "boring" instrument of the band, hope you keep going forward and growing for years to come.
I agree with you about the bass being the "boring" instrument of the band. However, the bass is actually the driving force behind all modern music. Added to that, he brought back a technique (aka slap) that was mostly an '80's thing to do, then died out in the '90's when pop and electronic music crap took over.
Complimenti, Davie, sei stato bravissimo :) the after-show talk gives away how shy and not used to live performances you are, which makes it double-props to you. I had fun watching it in the livestream, hope you guys had fun performing it.
A man had his dream and made it real. This is where YOU belong, Davie, IN THE STAGE. This is YOUR time Davie. You worked all this life FOR THIS. And I cried. I have to admit that.
My goodness, he looks gigantic on that stage. But this proves Davie can play live and that he doesn't need 400 tries to get it right. Also proves he could easily be in any of the best bands in the world. Bring a lot more legitimacy to his skill. He's no longer just a studio guy, he can do live performances as do bass solos most professionals don't get to do.
I agree. The only thing I dispute is the implication that "studio guys" are somehow less capable of performing live. I get that you probably just mean people who make UA-cam videos, but you shouldn't mix the two up. Session musicians, what most people think of when you say "studio guys", are probably the highest performing musicians that exist. The don't know the songs at all when they arrive, and have to learn and perform them flawlessly, usually in less than an hour. Professional studios don't mess around with doing take after take. They expect the parts to be done in a few takes, and they hire the best musicians in the world to make sure that's the case. But yes, seeing Davie perform this well live is a big deal. Too many of these guys would crumble on stage. Look at what happened with Steve Terreberry and Dragonforce. The moment things got real, he buckled under the pressure and backed out. Most guys/gals on UA-cam would do the same. Live is a whole different thing.
@@NautilusGuitars absolutely. I assume most people making this type of comment aren't musicians, and this sounds logical to them but they don't have the experience to understand why it's wrong.

He's probably reached hundreds of millions.
Sure but it wasn’t at all because he played bass, it was the charisma and humour he put in his videos which was original and genuine. The bass playing was a side thing..
@@protestmyhero5613 Well said. His sarcasm and dry humor cracks me up. The bass is a bonus.
That drummer is no ordinary drummer. He's got a beautiful touch.
Not Lars though so it sounds different
I appreciate the effort you put into making this video, it shows.
I've been a fan of Davie since his "meets bass" series about 9 years ago and it's amazing to see how far he's come!! Kudos to you sir!
And I've been a fan of Davie since he came out his daddys butt!
9 years? 😳😳😳 omg it's been this time ago since his vídeos? Feeling old rn
Y'know, I'd actually kill to see a *huge* collab concert with all the UA-cam musicians... or like, a bunch of y'all getting together to start a proper band. Would def go to those concerts.
That is a fabulous idea!!
That would be EPIC
First Of October vibes! :)
Jared Dines did make a single with a few UA-camrs, like musiciswin Stevie and Sarah longfield
Bands need practices, like Lingling amount of practices. It'll be very hard to align schedules alone
You’ve been such a meme channel for so long I’ve forgotten how amazing you are at bass 😢🔥
Sei troppo bravo. Le tue musiche sono ascoltabilissimo. Ogni tanto sono repliche di musiche di anime, manga ecc...
Comunque bravissimo
what's up, fellow SLAPPERS. This is so absolutely frickin awesome to see. He has crazy talent, it's actually insane. I love that even though he's shy, he was able to play in front of all those people so damn well. Love you Davie. EPICO
No words to describe this, man. You're quite literally a star or you became one from goofing off and not taking yourself too serious. Or you became one from knowing just how serious to take yourself. I remember when you hit 1 million subs. Now look at you. Over 12.7 million and counting. I'm very happy for you.
Davie, I was so impressed with your live performance. It makes me feel like The world is real when I see a UA-camr crushing it live on stage in front of people. I would love to see you in a 3 piece prog rock band.
Davide you deserve the best man ... watching this bring a big smile to my face :) I migliori auguri Davide!
Davie as a fan of both you and TwoSet. After discovering both of you through the pandemic it made me appreciate music even more so in my life. Love the friendly collabs you guys do. I still remember when you mentioned you used to be shy doing these youtube videos. Look at you know growing your shyness evolving into being able to play live on a stage in front of fans. This makes me believe if I practice enough with my Digital Sax areophone instrument. I can achieve this to. Thanks for the inspiration Davie. I'll for sure to start slapping my areophone just to make you proud. :)
Dude, you've motivated so many people including myself to push ourselves to the next step of our musical journey and showing us what an amazing instrument the bass guitar can be. Continue to keep posting awesome videos and I hope you live a long and healthy life. Slap on brother!!!!
Really enjoyed the show! I bet you guys had fun preparing and planning this show. Great job!!
The world needs more bass. This is a great start. Keep it going!
Your presence on stage is incredible, I’ll legit fly to attend your next show. Keep up the good work, and never stop playing.
Its feels natural seeing him on stage, like he belongs there
Honestly for me this was an insane highlight of the concert!
Me too! 😎🌠
Watching you for 5 years now. You are incredible! ❤
My deepest congrats to you, fellow bass player. I have enjoyed being on stage playing music for a very long time, and I cherish every second that I get on stage. It is amazing to see you being on stage where you deserve to be. OMG...!!!!! :)
I've always been amazed by how great you can SLAPP the bass, but holy lord you're really effing good, even in front of a live audience. So damn proud of you, you got so far and you 100% deserve it.
That was amazing my friend. You just made my entire day better.
Hi friend
Yo Davie Congrats on your Show. You are the Man! Was a Subscriber back @2M. This is so Cool to see you branching out, *Love It* Love your Music Love your Work. Kick Ass 😏👉
Man, most touching moment. I always wanted to see this guy playing on the stage
Man Im so proud of you. You've reached a great accomplishment! Keep doing what you love
It really makes me so happy to see how much you've grown as a content creator, as a bassist and as a person. It's no joke when we say we're proud of you. Stay funky bro
I really think that there needs to be a vinyl pressing of this whole concert, complete with art of the whole saga.
A performance full of Groove 😎
Complimenti, Davie, sei stato bravissimo :) the after-show talk gives away how shy and not used to live performances you are, which makes it double-props to you. I had fun watching it in the livestream, hope you guys had fun performing it.
A man had his dream and made it real.
This is where YOU belong, Davie, IN THE STAGE. This is YOUR time Davie. You worked all this life FOR THIS.
And I cried. I have to admit that.
I watched the livestream and it was so well done! Thanks for a great show Davie and TwoSet. You guys put together a really entertaining show.
I hope everyone that says he’s just a bedroom bassist are seeing his absolute pure talent
Muito orgulho vendo você tocar riffs de guitarra no seu baixo em público! EPIC SLAP
Thanks!
*BASS Because spelling BASS correctly is important. 😉
He's so big on stage proves he IS larger than life. LOL
He is a Bass monster
@@NautilusGuitars absolutely. I assume most people making this type of comment aren't musicians, and this sounds logical to them but they don't have the experience to understand why it's wrong.
Always knew he would kill it on stage. Keep slapping Davie 🙌🙌.
Damn that requires a lot of guts just to go out on such a stage. You played so amazingly too. I m proud of you
Of all the instruments in the whole world, you're the reason why I choose bass Davie
So glad I streamed this concert. It was a great show all around. Love the different contrast in music styles between bass and violin. Felt like I was a part of something special and absolutely unique. The theme of completing quests was an awesome touch. I have ordered a Quaver figure to go next to my Davie504 Youtooz figure. It’s gonna be epic -and- funky, bros!
Thank you for giving bass the recognition it deserves! You come so far!
He has. "You've", or "you have", by the way :)
That was dope! The playing but also the fact you didn'T break character even in front of an ecstatic audience. Much respect!
I'm very proud of you Davie you are the best 💜
holy shit this is clean as balls
awesome skills and incredibly tight playing
Amazing live performance from Davie504!!! I love that this first live performance also shows your talents and how much it SLAPS us xD
It's soo much emotional seeing you grow
I still remember when PewDiePie shouted you out
Damn even the word shouted you out feels old
It's feels great coming back to the youtubers you used to watch
I found your channel a month ago. I DIDNT REALIZE you uploaded every so often. I ended up binge watching them all during some..practice sessions. I've watched them all😭
Thank you guys sooo much, Brett, Eddy and Davie. I've just watched the show and it's amazing! I wasn't able to see it at the original times planned, so I thought I was going to miss out. Thank you so much for finding a way to share it more flexibly. You're all stars 🤩🤩🤩
Oh man what a journey he’s been on. Super proud to be a SLAPPER and seeing the impact you have on everyone.
È bellissimo vederti arrivare fino a questo punto.
Tutto quello che possiamo fare ora è salire più alto!
