I dont think so. Not only his weight Is pretty much the Same of last year. But also because he pretty much never tries 1RM he Is very conservative
I think now is like 6/7 kilos less than when he faced Levan, and from videos i saw it seems he want to keep this weight

I think the biggest mistake from Ermes in round 3 and 4 against Levan was, that he wanted to go to the flop press immediately and not starting like usually before that or in round 5, kinda the same technical error I think like with Devon against Taras

Ermes in round 3 against Levan was actually keeping his pronation for like 10 seconds until he got his hand flopped completely, Idk why nobody mentions that, It was actually more pronated than Devon s hand against Levan in round 1... nobody mentioned that, anyway on the other hand Devon actually had better hand control against Ermes than Levan did agaisnt Ermes, which shows some improvements imo
We must also remember that levan was 10 percent stronger against devon, it's evident from his wrist curl record, he managed a 100kg against devon but struggled to perform atleast 90kg against ermes.
@@MelajiedI believe there are too many factors to take in consideration, he might just haven t showed a heavier curl on video. I mean, look at Ermes vs Vitaly, he did his pr prior to that match of 97kg but he didn t show that, he showed a 88kg lift instead. On top of that you may add that Levan got sick just few days before Devon match
@@lorenzobellistri8839 nah man, he literally struggled to lift it, it's clear in his face. But while prepping against devon 90kg was easy, he did like 5 reps or so. I believe this is the reason why levan had devon as the favorite against ermes.

This is why Ermes is one of my favorite pullers of all time. He's not only a pretty funny and chill person, he also has the biggest underdog story of the superheavyweight division. He's also one of the most entertaining athletes to watch, because he doesn't only bring fury to the table, but he's extremely technical while doing so.

Just please don't injure yourself during training Ermes. He seems like a sensible lifter unlike other ego lifters, but still gotta be careful. So many athletes have lost their prime because of injuries or health issues. Hope that doesn't happen to Ermes and we get to see his progression through the next decade.
He is a clever guy who knows his limits and when to stop when training.

But PLEASE my guy, get rid of the Mr Beast subtitles. They make a usually calm and contemplative Watch through a little to hectic. No lying, every time I watch the Ermes vs Levan match, I get goosebumps. I had mixed feelings in the Devon vs Ermes, since Devon is my #1 guy, but my 2nd favorite is Ermes. I just hope that soon or late Ermes can be the best in the world

Styles make matches. Ermes gave Levan the King a run for his money and crushed Genadi, but tends to struggle against taller guys with long arms that he can't easily toproll.
Yes he looked way smaller back then but let's cut the hyperbole stuff. He still looked like he left it in those early clips his arms were huge.
I strongly doubt that training can overcome genetics, nonetheless Gasparini deserves respect for his perseverance and resolution.

If Dennis & Levan never started blasting massive amounts of steroids years ago, no one would know who they are. They are both very good of course but let’s be real they’re almost purely products of drug enhancement. Dennis even went to the hospital due to organ failure bc he was in such crazy amounts of anabolics, HGH, and likely insulin too.
Everything you said also applies to Ermes. He is as much of a freak as they are.
