Its like the -1 error code that happens in some games: As the game code/engine probably dont support negative values, it rounds them up, but to the maximum possible value. In this case, it rounds the reload value with the comulative debuffs to the point it equals zero. I just dont get why it is tied to the F8 spam, this sounds like spagheti code to me
The "rounding up" you're talking about is called "underflow". It happens when casting signed values to unsigned ones, and it will wrap around to the highest number representable with that given type. (At least on 2's complement systems, so x86, and nearly all other archs)

I KNOW HOW THIS WORKS LOL So basically what's happening is *_overflow_* . In programming, there are multiple types of data such as integer, float, double, etc. Each data type is represented on a set number of bits and, thus, has a limited possible value. In the case of the reload time, it is an unsigned integer number which can go from 0 to 2^64-1 in modern compilers. What you see on the screen as the reload time is actually calculated using miliseconds (1 second = 1000 miliseconds). What happens is, the reload gets so long that the system overflows and goes back to the lowest possible value. So when a number sits beyond 2^64-1, it goes back to 0 which is exactly what you see on the screen. When the reload reached over 407 seconds, it overflowed and went down to 0. TLDR: it's not a bug, it's actually a feature of programming Also note: Theoretically, it could work with any tank, not just autoloaders. Given the worst conditions, any tank could reach beyond the integer limit. (Edited the formatting)

For something like an EVEN 90, you can literally just flip yourself. Lol. Being on your side is the biggest factor that I can tell from the linked calculator aside from being racked, as it's a huge penalty. Note that field mods also can add to the reload time on some tanks. Lol.

Its probably because reload time exceeds maximum value floating point integer can have in the code.
More likely a 16 bit Int interpreted as a double digit number. As that is roughly the value of the occuring overflow.
There's something more to it though, the tanks are doing exactly enough shots to kill and no more. Unless they all are running safe shot or something
