They look awesome! Ha I thought we were gunna be the first in the Inbred Empire with chrome rims on a GLE. We have a 63s due in Nov. and I'm putting chrome rims on the Emerald Green. So you won't be alone..:) It looks great and c ya on the fwy sometime!!

Looks great! Did you have the wheels custom made or are they just chrome GLS wheels (look similar to GLS 580 wheels)?
That’s a great question the GLS 580 wheels that are similar to this are 20s and we went with 22’s we also wanted to go quite a bit wider in the rear. They’re 10 inches in the front, and just barely under 12 inches in the back. I can fit 335’s on the rear. 295 in the front.
@@bryanauer Awesome! I am thinking of trading my GLC 43 and going back to a GLE 580. I really want those new mono blocks they have on the V-Class but they are only 19 inches!
Great wheel choice! One question: How has the car held up being a year later (in terms of quality) any squeaks or rattles? Engine/transmission issues? I'm thinking of trading out my Cayenne for this later in the year.
I’m so sorry that I didn’t get back to you sooner. I’m just seeing this. We’ve had the car a couple years. It has 54,000 miles on it and we had zero issues. Literally not a single thing and I told my Ski Nautique with this vehicle as well.

Totally stock it’s an air suspension so it just does it’s thing :)

Yes! 5/8 spacers :) rear only
Do u have air suspension, and how does the 22 inch wheels compare in ride quality to your previous 20inch wheels

The GLE 580 is a full air ride suspension. It’s like driving on a cloud LOL. I was told that going from 20 inch rims to 22s would stiff ‘n the ride because of the shorter side walls But I honestly do not notice any difference... I did go substantially wider in the rear to exaggerate the offset-stagger.. I have 325s in the rear :)

Dude I’m tryna to find out what size to get for mines what size did you get ?
It depends on the wheels you go with I stepped it up to 22’s. I did 11 inches in the rear and 9 inches in the front 325s in the rear and 285’s in the front. The GLE looks amazing staggered
