This was the most informative video, dare i say it.. ever! He literally had an area for you to engage with the video in practice! So useful!
Omg i loved the sound effects to show the timing for dexing. Can you do please do a quake video with the dex sound and maybe a low tone for holding the heavy. I think people can hear a rhytm and learn quake patterns better. Also no one does videos with sound timing.

i've seen a couple that show it with the sound. honestly you just have to practice quake and shaking and after a few times it becomes second nature.

@@joshualawson7604 It's just like a back draft but you use a light atk. Also, since you can't backdraft of their block anymore, you use a light atk.
if you stay close on his sp2, and dash back right before he comes down you can go in instantly with a light attack to start removing rock shield stacks right away. I found this to be super helpful in AW against korg bosses. just something that wasnt mentioned here, but could be useful for the community. but counters I use Iceman, ghost w/ wasp, or Sabretooth with KM.
Excellent as always. I'd been able to dex his Sp1 sometimes but I would often get caught by the second and third projectile. Now I know why. I was trying to dex it at the impact point. Thanks for that info. Should be easier now.

Omega red is my go to for Korg. OR’s mediums, heavies and special attacks don’t get affected by his thorns damage. So if you parry and do double mediums and a heavy once he’s at 10 death spores you can avoid thorns damage altogether. If he’s a boss you just take a bit of block damage and then double medium him.
Just got back into the game after a near two year lay off.... gotta get my lessons up to take on the battle realm!!!!

Dormammu and Dr strange have base energy attacks. Dormammu also drains power on a combo ending medium, so you can keep him below his sp1. Omega red's tentacle hits don't take thorns damage. Ghost can do a phase intercept, starting the combo with light. She is my favourite option.

His l1 was literally done this way on purpose. There's a few characters like this particularly him though it's way off. Like if you go based on sound like kabam expects you to and what makes sense you are screwed but apperently korgs gun shoots slow pulses.

hey Dork, if you evade that sp2 a bit later you can come back with light attack to remove his rockshield, stay next to him and dash back right when he is on the air, that way you are not far from him and can come back with a light attack, I hope it's clear :/ it works for me everytime

My go to is Dr Strange. His energy attacks allow me to hit without taking that thorns damage, and the thorns is the main thing that nails me.

Where can I find this Korg or one similar to practice against? Is it in a story or variant quest? I can find him through duels but it cost units and gets annoying searching after a while! Thanks for the video!
Bishop is awesome against him. Class advantage, parry gives extra energy charges. Sp1 will allow you to deal energy damage w every hit, even through blocks. Sp2 wrecks him w built up energy charges. Korg 20% decreased energy resistance.
Also omega red awesome counter
I use Hyperion. Light attacks with sp1 and sp3
Omega Red. Punish his heavy with a heavy
I use OG Thor or DS.
Thor breaks his rock armor with parry.
Doesn’t work on stun immune, of course.

Black Widow does work most of the time if you have high sig level on her. She's actually my Korg counter, the only problem I have is his special 1

Voodoo with MD level 4 is my counter and i never failed
Havoc, most of his damage is energy. Hes nt worst hated champ 2 fight
Personally I use Iceman. I only do that though if I know I'm about to fight him. If I'm going to War and I think he is on my path I bring Iceman if he's not on Deffence, and if he is on D, I use Doctor Strange but only because his Sig is at 99.

Dude, Omega Red was built to counter korg - 10 spores, and he can’t shrug off parry - PLUS his medium doesn’t take damage from rock shield

Anyone use voodoo to get rid of sp1 risk? I feel like that's the only thing annoying (other than rock charges which aren't usually that hard to deal with)
Broski Dave didn't wanna be taking all day in video so here's some energy based attackers that I'm aware of. Magneto, havok, dormammu, Dr strange, symboid supreme, imiw and you can use proxima, domino, and carefully omega red. Threw him in there because he can life steal lost life back+mutant. Also I believe human torch may be a counter but I could be wrong. I personally love using mephisto with the way Dave described above plus Korg has negative energy resistance so if you pair him with dormammu and Dr strange or sym supreme it's nasty.
Negative energy resistance? That means he takes more than normal damage from energy damage?

No. She would still take damage from the rock stacks since he attacks are physical. Except the sword attacks in the specials.
She's okay, you won't need to worry about specials if youre not good about evading about sp1

Dr. Voodoo for the win. Light dash back intercept, poison to death,power burn for extra damage on sp2 and sometimes odd combo to reduce thorns damage
Can a 5* r4 dupped voodoo be good against korg boss in AW?
Syed Affan depends on tier. In expert tier you probably will time out against r5 korg boss, but if you play well and mix poison with power drain with boosts you can do it

@@henryfabricio4252 Yeah try him out against korg you will be stunned... Just look out for Debuff purification when you stun him. He often Purify thay stun
I have the easiest time using Elektra. I have a 5* r4 just parry, attack like normal, rinse and repeat.
Elektra will only work with a debuff on him like from resonate or stun. But then again he can shrug. Definitely not the best counter but if it works for you that's all that matters.
Guardian... Yeah Korg is immune to shock but he works
