1. When to use l1 or l2 for various heroes so they have least chance of getting blocked - maybe after the 2nd or 4 th hit in a combo etc.
2. Best way to fight with various heroes - I'm looking for info on black Spidey, Gamora

in my case while "walking the line" computer won't bait and when i dash back to get some space, computer keeps following me sometimes even get me cornered
same with me... honestly parry wait and bait is best... in my opinion.

I've tried so hard to bait sometimes, especially in arena, the AI just won't take the bait and keep charging up L3 and make me lose my streak :(
This doesn't work in arenas. The cpu holds it for sp3

good vid as always dorkness, but, I swear I have tried all these techniques and I can never bait there first or second attack. thank goodness i usually have plenty of health to last through a 3rd attack. I feel I am the only one where the computer will not take the bait. haha, get it, take the bait. oh never mind
That's exactly what happens to me as well. I tried all those techniques but they don't let go of the L1-L3 I get lucky I got plenty of health to survive
Like I said.. there will be times it will just not bait. But also, when are you trying to bait? If you are talking about fights 1-8 in arena.. yeah.. it doesnt bait all that much during those.. because the computer will likely not use SP3 for that match.. and if it does, it will do minimal damage. Other than that.. keep practicing.. you'll get it.

The best way or way that works a lot of the time is attacking the defender while he is blocking for a hit or two and as soon as your done attacking their block they will launch the special. Don’t remember what it’s called exactly in the video but yeah that one works well. I use all of em at some point tho.

I'm new to the game. Started playing a month ago. This vid was posted 2016. Has there been patches since then cos the AI just doesn't bite on any of my baiting.

Question. When I try to bait the attacks buy walking towards them with my guard down they usually just run towards me and when I am fighting against enemy's with high damage, you can see the problem. So my question is, how do I stop that from happening. Thanks.

how do you stun the enemy when he's performing the 2nd special? that parry doesn't stun them when I am playing ..
Parry used to stun special attacks in the older version but now the parry doesnt stun the special attacks

There's no such thing as "bait specials". The max you can do is wait until the AI launch a special attack. That's deppends much more on the mode of game, level of defenders, what champ is the defender (and what you're using), and some random factors more than any technique. When I fight with Doom below 2 bars of powers, I always press defense, and the champs always launch their specials. While with other champs, I always let my defense open, and they take a lot of time to launch specials.
@dork how thor did not use his full sp2?as i try and parry many times special attack cant be interrupted by stun we can reduce damage by perfect timing parry then how??
