    Great Video! My husband and I have stayed at this resort 3x (prior to Hilton buying it) and we love this place. Looking at going back in 2022, but having a hard time with it now being kid friendly (before it was adult only), but I am having a hard time finding anything else that meets the quality of this resort.

    We stayed there for 9 nights back in late October early November and loved it. I can’t believe it’s kid friendly which ruins it. The drinks aren’t very good but the food and service was amazing. The price is so high too. We paid 210 a night now it’s 590 for the same room. Crazy. Loved your video

    We are going for Spring Break 2022! Bringing another family with us. I did a ton of research before we decided on this property. Counting the days already! LOL

      You're going to love it! Puerto Vallarta is probably our favorite of the typical Mexico beach destinations and the Hilton is a great spot!

    well done you guys!!!! We check in today, looking forward to checking out the hotel. We have also done the Playa Del Carmen all inclusive - that one is really great. Anxious to see how this one compares to Playa.

    Wow, only two days! Why travel so far for just two days? We spend 7 nights every year at a beach resort in Mexico. Seven nights is not enough for me to calm down and relieve all the stress of life. In April we spent a week at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta. Next April we go to Hawaii. In December, we will spend 10 nights in Nuevo Vallarta. We have booked our wedding at the Villa del Palmar Flamingos. Great to see you had a fun time. You need to return and explore.

    Great review! Heading there next week. How much are taxis from the airport to the resort?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  Рік тому +1

      Thank you! We actually took an Uber from the airport, I believe it was about $15. You have to cross the pedestrian bridge outside to get one though as it is not allowed at the airport, quick and easy.
      On the way back, we could not catch and Uber as we were a bit further out of town. I think we paid around $25 to return and that was the same cost as the estimated Uber to return.
      Have a great trip!

    Were you guys on the Hacienda side or the family friendly side? Your room looked great but I saw another video of a junior suite and it did not look the same so I'm curious. Thanks!

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  2 роки тому

      Hey Rachael! Wish we could be more help, but when we stayed in October 2021, it was an adults only property so there was no distinction. I know they have since changed. If it is at all helpful, we stayed in the north building and received an "upgrade" to an ocean view room (although all rooms face the ocean but maybe we got a higher floor?).

    Hey! I'm at the hotel right now! Wondering who/where you talked to to get the paddle boards?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  2 роки тому +1

      Oh awesome, we're jealous! I think beginning about 9 am until 2 pm or so (depending on the tide / conditions) one of the entertainment guys would get them out down on the north end of the beach. They store them below the boardwalk so they just pulled them out as needed. Enjoy!

    Did you go in October/November? We want to go in one of those months next year and wonder what the weather and water temperatures are like then

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  2 роки тому

      Yes we were there in mid-october! The weather seemed very ideal to us but I think that's the case year round. Ocean temps was perfect, pools was a tad cold but it was welcome when the sun was on it! Outside was humid but no issue with the water and indoor restaurants!

    I’m staying at the hotel next month people say the drinks are OK but you can get premium liquor if you pay extra do you know anything about it?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  2 роки тому +1

      I do not believe there is any option to pay more to get something different, however, there are some quality liquors that are included (at least in our taste)! I would advise to be specific with everything drink on what brand of liquor you want or you would most likely get bottom shelf otherwise.

    Thanks for the video!
    I want to plan a trip there.
    Are the pools heated? I was told there were indoor hottubs on the fifth floor, is that true? Also and issues with mosquitos?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  2 роки тому +1

      I am sure you would love it!!
      The pools did not seem to be heated but it was pretty hot and humid so the temperature was appreciated! The ocean was a bit warmer, as well!
      We didn't see any indoor hot tubs but the fifth floor rooftop did have hot tubs with a nice view of the ocean. There was also a big one down on the pool / ground level!
      We didn't have any issues with bugs or mosquitos throughout! Enjoy!

    Great video, is the hotel mask at all times or are they cool if you don’t wear one?

    • @StNickTravels
      @StNickTravels  2 роки тому

      Most of the hotel is "outdoors" (even the lobby / hallways) so it is not required. The restaurants are a bit more strict!

      did you paddle board beyond the rocks? assuming so but wanted to ask. In other videos I have at seen people go beyond them
