Thanks for the info on this. I’m just having a slight issue, I’m not getting sound out. I can go to all the factory presets and they work fine but not the downloaded ones I’ve added

When I import purchased items into HX Edit I get a gold pick next to the preset. Any ideas on what that means?

1st time user. Looks like my Helix came up in the “templates” mode and I didn’t know any better so I downloaded the patches into the empty preset slots. Looks like I should have used the User 1,2,3 areas. Does it matter? Will they function correctly?

My guitarist shared his Helix patch with me, but when I try to upload it, I am hit with an error message "unable to import because preset translation not supported, dsp block constraint exceeded." He has the LT and I have the Stomp XL. Any insight here?
Yep I know exactly the issue. The LT has way more processing power which means you can add double the effects blocks than on the Stomp.
So the stomp won’t be able to handle all the effects blocks that were in that LT patch.
Pro tip: all the blocks that you can fit in the top line of the LT signal chain will work on the Stomp but nothing more than that.

hello! just purchased a john mayer preset from your website. I am trying to import presets/patch into my hx stomp with my mac but it gives me an error.. Would you happen to know why? I bought it for hx stomp on your website for for some reason it tells me its a helix preset. The error it gives me says "8704 preset translation not supported, too many parallel dsp paths"
Hi Roy, it looks like according to my records you purchased the John Mayer Helix patch, not the John Mayer HX Stomp patch. This is why you're getting the error message in HX Edit.
Can I download from my laptop ?
I just bought a 2nd HX Fx for a real amp's effects how do I save a preset from unit one that is set up to stock unit 2?
You could connect both HX effects to your computer via usb and open HX edit for both. Drag one preset over to the second window and it should import into your 2nd HX effects.

Can you import a POD Go Edit Patch into HX Edit? Reason I ask is I want to upgraded to Helix but I have a boat load of expensive Choptones Pod Go patches that I want to use. I don't want to do it manually because I need to sell my Pod Go to afford the Helix.
Unfortunately no I don’t believe there’s a way to convert the files. The pod go patches are completely separate from the Helix files.
if i buy a Pod go patch bundle, can i easily transfer the presets to pod go, or do i need a special software?
You do need the pod go edit software very similar to HX Edit
