Bro same scam happened with me they ordered 4 phone on my identity but when they said return the device to different address then it’s clicked on my mind. Something is going wrong then I went to Telus store and they confirmed me that’s a scam.

I work at Bell. A lot of customers actually prone to this. This is a most common scam happening these days
A similar thing happened to me.......scammer pretended to be rogers customer support. ...offering iPhone 14 pro for free.......even was willing to pay for my existing contract...
I simply asked to send an email from the official email ID, ......2 months, and am still waiting for the email 😂

@TRUEINDIANAKSHIT yes I do, and it is never wise to close such deals over call. We should always ask for an in person appointment to avail offer if it is online only deal then ask them to email this. Bell contacted me in the past to add second line, but I asked them to send an email, and they sent the same. It is too much information to process over call.....if emails are not from official email id's, do not click on any link given

Same kind of scam. Almost happened with me 3 years ago. But i figure it out before getting scammed 😅
But the thing is how they can order the phone without paying even after they stole your information and use that information for placing that order ?

It is also happend with me i was looking for a phone and i got a call and they explained everything to me it was a good plan but when they asked me about my information i asked them to give me the address of the store i will buy it from there only i am not going to give any information on phone so at the end they drop the call.

Bhai isi kehte hai lack of information jo logon ko hoti hi nhi plus if something like this happens you have fido rogers bell app to confirm what phone is added to your account second thing is you can’t order a phone on a account until and unless you are logged in with your personal email id. And last company will remove this amount from your account if they know a fraud has happened on Your account on your behalf and you need to raise a complaint against it.

@@TRUEINDIANAKSHIT All starts from indeed as I was randomly applying for job. I got a reply from a so-called IT company that I was hired for probation period and that was a work from home job. They made me sign a contract which was totally like a job contract. I also searched for their websites and profile of the hiring manager in LinkedIn, all the things were perfectly made. They asked my Gmail that I use it for bank transactions but didn't ask for SIN. However, during training they asked me to set up a BTC account, sent some money in my bank account and made me buy bitcoins and then again sent them to their BTC Wallet address. They made me watch some websites creating videos as I am from health science I didn't know a lot about the IT sector. Later, they just vanished from everywhere. Fortunately, I didn't lose anything but I still don't know what they wanted.
