"Wendie" can be a wristlet or a crossbody bag. Perfect to carry your phone in, with two extra pockets that fit your credit cards, lipstick, and cash easily. It is made with two different fabrics (you can use fabric, cork, leather, or vinyl) and features a decorative centre panel both front and back. The top closure is a zipper with a zipper pull strap. The bag pattern features an easy-to-make zipper pocket on the back. You can make it into a crossbody bag with an adjustable cross-body strap, or make it into a wristlet. Both versions are described in the bag sewing instructions. The inside lining has a zipper pocket on one side. There are rivets on the strap and the zipper pull strap. I have made these bags with fabric, cork, vinyl, and waterproof canvas.

just found your video and thank you,,i will be catching up on those,,what brand of thread are you using for bag makng on all fabrics
Hi Judy. I buy from here: www.thethreadexchange.com
What size needle and thread do you use? New subscriber and love this pattern….just ordered!
Hi Nancy. Thank you for buying my pattern. I normally use a 130 needle and 46 thread.
Good morning, my name is Yonette Thomas I ordered your bag pattern but i didn't receive the download with the pattern
Hi Yonette. Sorry about that. I am sending it to you directly. Did you take a look in your spam folder for the download email there? These things go out automatically, so you should have gotten it. Please check your email now.
@AnneBonneyBags thank you much, i received it
Just wondering, Uuni, could you please tell me if I can put my own label on my finished bag, or do I have to use your label?
Hi Ann. Of course you can put your own label on the bags you make from my pattern. The pattern is only a small part of the creation process. You are doing the rest and creating a wonderful piece of handmade art. It is great if you mention that you were using a pattern from Anne Bonney Bags if you are showing it online. Thank you for buying my pattern!
Please what is the name of the gum use for the bags?
Hi Godiya. If you mean the double-sided tape I use, it is called basting tape or just double-sided tape. I get it from Springfield leather company on Amazon. Good luck with your own bag!
What thread do you use for making bags? I just bought a new machine, the tl-18, and I dont know what thread I can use for bags.
Hi Lissa. It depends a little on what you're making your bag of. If it isn't too thick, 46 is enough. Otherwise, if you need total strength, 69 is good. Thetreadexchange.com has thread, but many other too.
What foot do you have on your machine
Hi Carlaleis530. Most of the time I sew with a foot that has teflon under it. Then I can sew on vinyl and all other materials.
What the sew allowance
The seam allowance is 3/8 inch.
@@AnneBonneyBags thanks
Hi how do I get the material from Nigeria
