The salary of the people in the Top, Top Management (CEO, MD, Director, General Manager, Head of Department etc.) in Japan (or Japanese companies), is also *quite low* , compared to the ones in the Western countries. I have read this many times in newspaper article, journal, studies and so on. I reckon that they accumulate the profit as company cash reserve.
