Gavin star in what way? Cos i know brixton is notorious for its shit sound and speaker set up. Obviously the mix has been tidied up in post editing but it’s probably brixton being ass when it comes to sound which is why it sounds better here
62 years old. Discovered the DMA's a couple of years ago and now know that I have found the music that would have defined my life if I had heard it when I was in my teens. Absolutely moved by the beauty of their songs. Man it feels good to move into new musical spaces.
These boys have an incredible ability to turn great songs into absolute anthems when they hit the stage. Brixton will soon feel like a small club gig to them as they ride the star trail their on.
So this song appeared on my TikTok feed last night. When you get to a certain age (51) with certain responsibilities, new and interesting bands seldom come along in your timeline. This is the first time in an age I’ve been physically moved by a song. How on earth have they got away with two choruses? Who even does that? Just brilliant. What a live voice this guy has. New fan here.
These Lads are just fucking epic, From a 51 year old man obsessed with the Stone Roses since the age of 18. Love the fact there playing Ally Pally as they are about to blow up. Poxy covid stole there momentum
62 year old obsessed with Oasis and Stone Roses, and I’ve seen DMAs several times live, and I’ve never seen a band that has their audience singing with them every single song before.
Just discovered this gem of a band right now! Is it just me or do I get a little bit of Liam Gallagher vibes with his voice and sound? I’m digging all their songs as I keep listening :)
I’m 61 - I am a huge Oasis fan and I stumbled upon the DMAs in an Oasis Facebook group.. so I had a listen! WTAF? I’m blown away by this band! And regarding this video, What a masterpiece of a song performed in front of such an amazingly appreciative crowd !! This wasn’t a gig, it was a happening, and I’m so jealous that I wasn’t there! ❤❤
A friend of mine passed away in August this year. This song reminds me of him every time I play it and I always shed a tear. I don't think a song has ever done that to me before and I have a feeling this song has the same affect on others. What a band
So I went to see Liam Gallagher and kind of ignored the supporting band. But by the time they finished their first tune, I was all ears. This was a few months back and I've been listening to DMAs almost daily ever since. Amazing band!
Mark my words these lads from Newtown, Australia. Will become one of the, if not the biggest bands to leave our Aussie shores, although these days Aussies are only into what's trending in and at the moment. These guys are innit for the long run and a BIG run thats for sure. Mark My Words.
This is incredible. First 60 seconds with the full crowd involvement. The key change is his voice at 2:05. The smiles and embraces in the crowd. It's near perfect.
Please book a show in NYC. I could die happy then. Ha. Defo been my favorite band since your debut. I literally stream your music 24/7. I can’t sleep unless I have DMA’s blasting in my air buds. Now book shows in NYC. America will love you guys. 🤩
What a voice!!! Serious talent. This band should be huge globally. Really hope they make it big. Great songs seen them in November 2019 Cardiff sounded great
I was at the neighbourhood weekender festival last weekend. These guys were shown to me by one of my pals I traveled with. These guys weren't even at the festival but this and Believe from them take me straight to that festival.... since being back, and getting over this awful hangover, I have cried at this song multiple times. It's absolutely stunning.
ok, 5 minutes ago I had heard of a band called DMAs but couldn't tell you anything about them at all. I seen a Facebook post about them so I thought id check them out and this song was the first song I listened to... Holy F*** this song made the hairs on the back of my neck standup. this song is perfection. take a bow boys. I'll be listening to more for sure.
They’re the kind of band that on the one hand you hope get big because they really deserve it, but also you want them as your own little secret.
YES!!!!!! Exactly!
That was the case in 2014/15 for me, watching them in tiny venues. They're far bigger now, and deserve it.
Nail on the head. They deserve it even though we are going to miss the little gigs
No truer words have been spoken
This is the only band since the arctic monkeys that I actually wanted to achieve anything
Nearly forgot to watch this today

I didn't
I watch this so often and I look forward to seeing this comment at the top of the list every single time!

Not far behind you in age and totally agree!

💯 agree. Some of the lyrics/songs are my life and wish I'd written them
64.feel exactly the same .what a band.
When that second chorus drops in, "How do you redefine..." I have to throw my arms in the air. Just fucking great.

have you heard them do Cher's Believe - it is brilliant - just search "Like a Version Believe".
‘Delete’ put them on the map but boy does ‘Silver’ have the chance to become their next big anthem. This is a massive track
“The” big anthem *

@@tynkirbell599 Why? Great music is being produced all the time. Why would I want to listen to Pink Floyd for the rest of my life?
Nice one. Same as you, same vibes, same history. Its like the roses again, although this one can sing! Wish we were young again...
Ally Pally was fantastic. Place was bouncing

1:59-2:15 that change in his voice was immense, I’ve never used that word before either.
It's unreal isn't it, very unique
Sophie Thorneywork never forget the first time I heard it plus he’s a scouser, supports the wrong team though unfortunately.
Ricky Baillie don’t know if that was an attempt at being funny or what but ok Ricky 👀
dudeism he’s an Aussie
Unbelievable

The Glasgow live version is amazing too
Played this vid to my boy, it's 25yrs since I saw Oasis. Same venue got shivers up my spine trying to pass on the vibes to my lad..
@Gavin star When was this? They didn't cover Believe when supporting Liam???
Best song in years in my opinion , by any band , can’t wait

Face of a bricklayer, Voice of an angel.
You can just tell they’re heritage is British criminal. They pull it off perfectly ❤😅
Quarantine got me listening to them more and more man swear
Jakob Casey same bro
Same! I even posted a video reacting to their album today 💗✨

May his soul Rest In Peace brother ☮️
keep the lyric in mind for your friend "look to the sun with you" in your thoughts mate
One of the best songs ever made
So I went to see Liam Gallagher and kind of ignored the supporting band. But by the time they finished their first tune, I was all ears. This was a few months back and I've been listening to DMAs almost daily ever since. Amazing band!
Literally the exact same situation for me how I became a fan.
Saw them at Finsbury park in 2018. Absolutely brilliant.
I had the same experience in Manchester, ast gig before lock down, and they was the support band !! I use to ignored them until the day
The best in the business by a country mile
To everyone in the UK, i hope the lockdown is over with so you can enjoy their live shows in 2021.
The Ultimate version of this great tune ! Will never be better than this and the amazing crowd ❤❤
I thought that until I saw them live in Cardiff!!😅

I said the same thing, but under another video. This band will be one of the top bands in the world, the new Coldplay.
Ok mate. Roger that.
Absolutely stunning song. Listening to non stop at the moment during these hard times. The best band on the planet right now!!! 👌🇦🇺
Proud that theyre Aussie as a fellow Australian to them, but also brilliant to see how UK has taken to them. Well done DMA's
'How do I redefine all my love for you..' What a fking line 😎😎😎

I was born in 1964 and I cannot tell you the connection and love I feel for this.....good luck all of you ❤️
So good live...
To Samantha Silver, the girl I never knew, yet loved.
Imagine being one of the people to press the dislike button. How depressing must their life be! This is one of the best songs wrote in a loooong time
😂😂😂😂
It’s a tradition at this point to come back to this now and then.
Haven’t listened to a tune so often as this in years. Absolute banger - it was also the first record I’d heard by DMAs.
Saw dmas infront of 400 people. You knew then how special this band would be
Feel privileged to say I was there for this. Amazing night!!!
Watching them supporting Courteeners next week, in Cardiff.
Cannot wait!
The key change around 2 mins in then the 2nd chorus drop at 2:35 is poetry in motion, beautiful song ❤️
Just seen these in exeter and never seen a crowd so involved
This gig needs releasing on DVD sharpish
Fucking love it, thanks DMA'S ❤
Just gets better.Best crowd involvement I've ever seen
Captivated by Believe and been a fan since. I'm 67!
That song is absolutely fucken bulletproof.
I'm obsessed with this version.
This song is as big as(if not bigger) ,don't look back in anger.
The band and the audience in harmony together!!! Doesn't get much better than this!!!!!
Does anyone else cry every time at this song?
Tommys voice absolutely A1 live.....superb 🙌🏻
Now, that was just a song who hits you like a train.. just brilliant!
No, thanks for having us DMA'S. Best band in the world.
I love Dmas but i really wish they would make Joel, Thomas and Liam fully fledged members of the band. Their contribution is immense.
And Brenton mccure
I owe this band big time for inspiring a song I wrote that I finally wasn’t afraid to share on Facebook.
Saw them at Newcastle in 2019. Almost 4 years later and still suffering from post gig depression
Best tune from any band in the last ten years. Obsessed with it.
As crazy as this crowd is, the crowds at their most recent UK gigs look even better!🔥🔥
Incredible night just before lockdown. The whole gig was a big fucking singalong.
Take me back.
All I want to do is move to Australia and experience nights like this.
Hugs to all my Australian lovely people
This is London lol
Our doors open when we get this shitty Covid under control 🇦🇺

Favourite band of Tramlines 2023 !
Absolute goose bumps, best performance and song I've heard in forever, and I'm a metal head
This song is up there with the best songs released by Noel and Liam in the recent past. Massive tune.
Love Noel and Liam but this is better written then anything they’ve written in a while
Still loving this song, listen to it over and over, esp the splendor in the grass version - takes you to another place every time.

They're playing Weekender next year.
What a song, what a crowd…
Found these guys two days ago. I cannot remember the last time I was so hooked on one song. Incredible!
Saw them supporting Kasabian in Edinburgh and ended up there early by chance to catch them, was blown away & been a fan ever since. Incredible band
What a masterpiece of a song.
There's something special about these kids.
Seen them 9 times now and they just get better and better , brixton was a quality gig man , ally pally is certainly guna be tasty!!!
Niall Smith 12 times for me and no band comes close to them live apart from kasabian
The crowd made one hell of an atmosphere!
Nope.... this is more like GOLD. Up the DMAs.
How does a song somehow capture the essence of everything we loved about that era and be so good at the same time?
Today I discovered DMA's. I can't imagine what I have been doing with my life!
What a band. What a voice 👌🏻
Really shocked these guys haven’t broken into the US yet. Damn shame, really would love to see a show.
this was the best night of my life
2:54 That "ieee eh ehhhh" is such a liberating scream!
