I was expecting you to say checking subcooling or SuperHeat. You cant sit there and tell somebody what pressures should look like unless you know the ambient outdoor temperature..
Great video, I love the honesty, but can you recommend someone in my area, Fresno ca, cause I don’t want someone to come out and absolutely nothing and charge me for a gaggle of things.
Was it just water, or was it a soap spray? Soap water is used to pinpoint leaks, but a full inspection usually means the machine gets drained into a cylinder or two, and pumped with nitrogen to be sure. Unless he knew for certain there was a leak, and knew the general vicinity of it, he should have been a lot more thorough than just spritzing water on it.
Where is your flashlight??? Condensers outside? Thought they were always outside. Also once a month seems excessive. What about corrosion from frequent waterings
My system isn't cooling enough not getting to set temp 78 degrees only 81 during the verrry hot day with heat index reaching almost 110 degrees . Is this normal ? Does get to 78 during the night . Just not long ago it wa reaching 74-76 . Replaced filter even though the old one was only a lil dirty not clogged . Water hose washed outside coils from the outside . I guess it's much better than it was a couple days ago because it was blowing warm air the capacitor went out and just replaced it . What are 'some reasons it could be so ? Anything a DIY can try ? Clean outside coils with coil cleaner spray I got from Lowes ? As for monthly maintenance I pour a lil bleach down the drain line
A Standard “clean and check” usually takes an hour to perform, this is testing and inspection only as well as an outside coil wash down without tearing it apart (hopefully an outside hose bib is close by). Any repairs/adjustments filters, parts, and cleaning agents are not included with service. Sometimes a service contract is the most efficient and cost effective way solution to keep your system well maintained. It’s revolving work for us and peace of mind for the customer because their equipment is checked out twice a year. The price you were quoted is typical as long as no additional problems are found with the units.
@@WmTSpaeder The HVAC tech that did my A/C maintenance this week was in & out in 15 minutes. I spoke with the owner of the company the next day after I cooled down - no pun intended! Lol. After first trying to BS me he agreed to send another tech out to finish the job. For $100 he better!
Thank you, you did a great job maintaining and filming. Look forward to see more.
Thanks for watching!
I always inspect blower wheel/motor, evaporator and filter first. Service will go much faster cause you don’t back track as much.
Appreciate the video, good to know what to expect on an annual maintenance visit👍
Yeah I paid $350 for a company just to tell me it needs to be cleaned and my filter needs be changed crazy- lesson learned, now i do myself.
Don't worry about not getting in on camera .. it's all part of the adventure. Well done as always.
why didn't you clean the condensation drain line?
Great for knowledge on components short and to the point information
Very thorough. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Very helpful.

how does your gauge tell you how much refrigerant is in the unit? regardless of being low or high?
Can't tell you the amount of refrigerant. It just tells you if you are low or high based on temp and pressure
typically your cold pressure should be around 120-130 Your heat should be around 315-345 anything lower is indicating a possible leak

Great info and demonstration

Great job
Thank you!
HooRay Ray! Looking good!😅
Thanks! We still have to get a good video featuring you. I'm going to look back at the boiler from last year, but that was a pretty long day.
Learn is very good HVAC
What gauges did you use to measure ?
Thank you 😊
Hi do you also clean the evaporator coil on top of the furnace and inspect that also for dust?
Yes, if it needs to be cleaned, we clean it.
I was going to ask about that.
Does the technician usually enter your home during this process?
Use gauges or anything?
My technician came and sprayed with water and left
A full inspection should include a refrigerant check. I sometimes just clean my neighbors ac condenser coil because it's next to mine.
Oh lord

R2D2??
R2D2 is your helper?!!!
Can you use a pressure washer to clean out those coils at the condenser?
Heard you can damage the coils with a pressure washer. I'd use a regular garden hose with the spray attachment.

Clean you’re evaporator, inspect the gas pressure.
@@AlexTorres-g4n man you got back to me 8 whole months later??!! Geez 🙄
Also, Check your circuit breaker…mine was doing the same thing.
Lol….truly impressive 😂😂😂
How much should something like this cost? I was just quoted $140

@@sitori663 Nice to make $100 every 15 minutes. Wish I was a brain surgeon, - - - - - er, I mean an A/C tech.
I need you for my house
Good day sir I m apply for hvac helper
It offer little detail of what you are doing. Not a good video
