@@BoneheadPodcast I want a squid riding full team so bad if orcs can get a new black orcs build goblins should be able to have half the team riding squigs
I am French and I am not sure the information I seek is in this video. If a player with Ball and Chain blocks one of his team mate : is there Turn over ? Thank you for your answer !
Hahaha, I guess it *is* possible! And they are technically getting sent off anyway! but you'd be automatically rolling injury for your guy when he goes down! If you've got enough Guard it *could* be useful, but super bad otherwise 😂
Haha Snots are excellent for it - Dodgestep keeping them alive and moving in the right direction!! Wrestle ends up with the player prone, which would cause an injury roll 😭
Unfortunately, since 2020 B&C players can't take Grab any more. Used to be one of the best skills to give them (personally, I valued it way higher than MB).
@@Martin-tu8dm cause rules for the B&C skill say so; why Grab was added to the list - I can't tell, as it doesn't seem to follow the same logic as the rest of the skills included.
Would be cool to see a video to defend against it or to defend against a vastly superior strength to for example mighty blow +1 with a pitch that adds 1 to injury.
The 1st time i met a goblin ball and chain player in a tournament, i was afraid of him and i did not dare to block him. Goblins slaughterd my nurgles and it wad the only games i've lost this week end. My opponent told me after to block him with 2 dices against (with block skill), the odds are very good for me. Indeed, now i'm not afraid anymore. I'vs spent so many good and chaotic moments with Kreek and Fezglish by my sides....
Great stuff. Really glad you mentioned blocking your own guys with your ball & chain, it can be really useful. They might be utterly unpredictable but if you’re running one you probably already embrace the thinking on your feet and taking whatever opportunities arise approach to the game. The side effects of running them is they can throw your opponents plans into confusion, plus as you mentioned create a huge distraction that needs to be avoided or dealt with. If your oppo is looking at the ball & chain they’re not looking at your chainsaw! 😝
I've never been a big B&C fan, but I might try some in friendly home games now with Fungus coming to see how it goes. Though as I tend to play Snotlings I don't know if hitting my own team is a good idea, haha
Hey BluesPiano! No, you’re normally not allowed, *except* with the Ball & Chain guy! You’re not making a Block action, it’s a move action that causes a Block! 😁
So do any assists apply on either side when I try to block my own player with a ball and chain guy? Has this been addressed anywhere?
“We are almost back to peak Blood Bowl.” Well said, Ben. 2-3 goblins stars left to get us there!

Can you aim the template in a diagonal direction?
No
Should a Ball & chain be deployed from the opening kick off regardless of kicking or receiving? Or is there a best time to use them?
save for second half if you kick or he could die before your turn or be too far away to do anything
Another question, is it possible to have a ball and chain / piledriver character ? And, should you?

Super bad, but super fun too 🤣
But you're right, it may not be very usefull...
why do you say he'd go down due to pile driver?
Ahh when you use Pile Driver the player gets placed prone - and whenever a B&C is placed prone they’re injured! 😣
@@BoneheadPodcast ohh, I missed that bit in the rules...
Yeah it’s a real killer 😮
Great video! I love the ball & chain. I ran Fezglitch for lolz in a tournament and had a blast. I miss him even tho kreek is better
Does wrestle make a B&C player take an injury roll?
I really love the push tactic. It will work great with my snotlings!!!

Great advice. I'd never considered blocking my own players, but I can see it coming in handy!
Thanks Jonathan! It’s not the most frequent of good plans 😂 but every now and then it’ll really come in handy!!

Hmmm that’s a cool idea Waarghboss! We haven’t really touched on the special pitches 🤔

just thinking... what about pushing our guy inside opponent's cage and then block the ball carrier?... spectacular
