Top- notch musicians, combining rock, jazz and country! They are not on stage to flash and shake their booties for the chicks. They, like the Allmans, were there for the MUSIC!!! Great times😎
Would have love to see him and Dicky Betts jam together. Play off each other's solos. What Keith Richards calls, " weaving " . It's an art form only the guitar gods can do. Toy was a guitar God.
Doug Gray in his prime did have such a soulful voice and Toy Caldwell had a unique sound from his guitar who played with just his thumb, no pick. All the members were talented and I was so lucky to have seen the original band in the late seventies. RIP Toy, Tommy and George.
This song is excellent live!! I saw in Wisconsin and they played for hours! One of the best concerts I ever saw and I saw a lot of them including Zeppelin and Cream and Mountain. This one does have kind of a bad side. The place I saw em was the same place Stevie Ray played his last show!! Damn!! It went by fast!! Take in everything you can and cherish it people!! It does go by fast just like people have told you I'm sure!!!! R I P all of my brothers and sisters that we lost!!
Love Marshall Tucker Band, they released some great songs such as Can’t You See, Fire on the Mountain, Heard Through a Love Song, This Ol’ Cowboy, Take the Highway to name a few💯%🎵🎼🎶😎🙌👏
I will miss seeing him and guys on stage with all the energy. But legends don't die .!!! Neither will Steven Tyler !!! Your a warrior .love you !!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I was at this show as a 20 yo kid - Best summer times were always at the GSAC - Great music lineups every summer. This was when they let you bring beer (cans only) into the venue - Not today - They get $18.00 for a Bud
Seen MTB in 1978 when i graduated in Indiana with steve miller band at Indiana University assembly hall my buddy i went with was killed cutting a tree down a year ago sure miss him and the good ole days i have the memories to last forever we had a van and a oz of good Jamaican weed and a cooler full of cold beer take me back MTB
i got to see these guys play at wild bills in duluth ga and they were amazing they still had it after all these years.I like the band for years and that night was special for me because as one of my christmas gifts my brother let me meet the band and we got the band to sign a set list for us so that was amazing doug grey is just an all around nice guy.all the band members are because they all signed the set list for me so that was special to me to have that signed by them.
Toy was awesome I never saw the original lineup but I did see Doug and the assortment of musicians he’s had over the years but nothing compares to that original lineup and the seven albums that they released I have them all on vinyl and cd and listen every day they are great songs and will never be duplicated again by any band
My Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is the road I walk destination there ain't one and the road never ends Up baby Straight up I'm heading north All roads lead home I'm on the road now and forever Destination nowhere But I'm going Hey I'm going

Saw them in a small venue in Hilton Head, SC in 1980. I'm now 62 and still cranked it up when they come on!!!
One of the most unique voices in the music world. And one of the best.

“That’s how we do it down in South Carolina… nice and easy”. That’s right brother!!
These guys were monsters. That drummer pulls like a diesel train.
I helped these guys out with their old delivery truck they had in a rest area once! Was pretty cool.

Not gone in being alive sense. Jerry Eubanks and Paul Riddle are still alive.
I’m definitely ready for a “road trip” with this great song!! 🎵❤🎉
Had their own style and sound that separates the good from the great bands ! Southern rock gets no better
