    Nothing like moving into a place built on an old mud hole! How well will you be able to deal with that sinking feeling?

      Are you saying this because the houses in this neighborhood are built on a floodplain? Did any of these houses get flooded during the last floods that hit Regina a few years ago? I am asking because I was planning to buy a place in the neighborhood. Thanks

      @@seemakaur-mk9ip flooding not that I am aware of. However there are a lot of water issues in that area.

      That's exactly what the greedy developers have done. And now we have what contractors call "twenty year houses" because they start to require significant repairs around the twenty year mark. I'm sitting here , in my seventy year old house, with fir flooring from 120 foot tall Douglas fir trees that were growing before Canada was a country, and I'm thinking, nope, none of those houses for me, I'll keep the modest house I have.
