I would like to ask how and why a large Adventist choir can sing politicized songs while the church is apolitical or even counter-political, meaning that you cannot serve God and at the same time serve this world. so when you insert in your songs the word Genocide done for the Tutsi people, are there not the billions of Hutus killed in this genocide? I inform you that until now the genocide continues. understand with me that the genocide was not only committed against the Tutsi people but also the Hutus lost theirs. I am a Seventh-day Adventist, Congolese nationality, native of South Kivu. I am a leader guide in the AY Adventist youth ambassador club. dear coach I would like to note that this song is 100% politicized, what do you want to say to the Hutu singer of Ambassadors or even other people who will hear this song. the only message given as a Christian is to preach the good news especially the messages of three angels to the whole world.
Hi brother! i hope this finds you well. i respect your perspective, but again please do not misunderstand things. if you really understand well the kinyarwanda language, this song is nothing about politics but just a story from a testimony of a mother and her only remaining daughter who barely survived the genocide against the tutsi 1994 (the message of the song was: "no one can decided what to happen on your life except only God who says BAHO(Live)". again there is no hutu singers of ambassadors nor tutsi singer of ambassadors, we all are only Rwandans. Thank you!
